FCEU-PSP (FCEUltra Port) v0.3 Released; PSP Nintendo Emulator Update

Last Friday boootsector released FCEU-PSP — the FCE Ultra port — version 0.3. It’s been recompiled against the FCEUltra Mappers Mod, which increases compatibility for those games utilizing NES MMC chips. Say what; NES MMC chips? You know it.
FCEU-PSP v0.3:
- Changed codebase from FCEUltra 0.98.12 to FCEUltra Mappers Modified (jun16-2006)
- Mappers compatibility increased (thanks to the fceumm codebase update)
- Mapper 163/164 bugfixed based on FCEUX sources (FF7 Remake is now playable)
- Improved the menu rendering a little

nub, homebrew is legal. why do you think the psp has a cfw? to play umd games? the scene is and has been against pirating games. Homebrew is the key here.

The CFW scene may be against pirating of games, but “The Scene” in general is centered around pirating of software. When people talk about scene releases of games, they’re referencing The Scene’s various releases of PSP games.
You’re wrong it IS illegal. He made a game with the name final fantasy that in itself is illegal, not to mention the whole thing is copyright to square soft, now square enix.
You missed the part where noone gives a damn.

Crystalis still has graphical glitches on this (as well as NesterJ) :(
Castlevania 3 still have issues, the graphic on background is fucked up and the sound gets glitchy too. can you check on that while updating it to a new version next time? thx.
Doesn’t NesterJ have adequate mappers anyway? Is there any reason to use anything else?
You know what happened when people said “Windows is adequate. Why use anything else?”. We ended up with Intel-Windows controlling the market. Linux = ~1% Mac = ~5%. So while this may be trivial at best, in no situation she we find ourselves limited to one way of doing things.
Any possibility of getting this emu to be the same as the PC version of “FCEUX 2.1.1″??
My romhack, “Megaman Ultra 2 – The Rise of X”, uses the MMC5 mapper. I’ve tried loading my rom into this emu, but the gfx are all screwed up, for backrounds and sprites.
