What a lame interface :/
As much as I don’t like bashing other peoples work, I’d have to say this is pretty useless plugin.
1. Agree with person 1, lame interface.
2. I don’t want the developers name advertised on my psp.
3. Voltage? Who cares…
4. I don’t need a plugin to tell me whether my LAN switch is on or if a UMD is present. Those answers should be pretty obvious.
5. VSH menu can tell me my CPU speed.
6. TimeBatteryPercent blows this plugin out of the water.
7. My HOLD switched is reserved for the hold.prx plugin.
To the developer, If you want fame and glory for creating something, try harder next time.
wow how rude, your opinion counts but to say try harder next time is a bit far.
What have you made?
Some things maybe easy to check/obvious but some people have broken WLAN switches and non functional LED’s so it can be handy I guess.
Voltage is good for checking the battery output is what it should and if it is below normal it could suggest a faulty battery/old worn out which might suggest to you its time to get a new one.
Dont slash other peoples work.
****Is a bit unfair****
Well hey, bongo head is absoluley right about every statment. But hey, atleast he can make kool things for a psp right ??
unless if u can code something better bongohead then shut it….something as simple as this actually takes a lot of work 2 code…and no im not kissing ass 2 the this developer…unless u r a dev u dont know what its like coding…
a) Learn to spell out your goddamn words, holy fuck. I’d rather look at a million more tactless posts like BongoHead’s than read even one grammarless, ‘txt talk’ laden post like yours. Get a dictionary, and take a fucking English course, you retarded cunt.
b) BongoHead may have been a little harsh about it, but he’s absolutely right. Pretty much everything about this particular plugin is useless. Most of this information is available in far more useful plugins, and the other information isn’t important enough that you need to be able to bring it up any time.
It’s especially useless to people who make frequent use of the “hold+” plugin. A plugin like this should NOT take precedent over the standard hold function, and could have very easily been given a config file, and a user-definable hotkey (defaulted to something like Brightness+L). This plugin would be way more useful if it were properly integrated into the XMB, perhaps modifying the ‘Battery Information’ option under System Settings, renaming it something like ‘Hardware Information’ and displaying the information there. Here’s hoping this particular plugin is a preliminary version.
c) In case you feel like being a smartass, yes I know what it’s like to program something like this. I’m no amazing coder by any stretch of the imagination, but I’ve done my share of it, and it’s not a matter of how hard it is or isn’t. If you want to program something, you should think ahead as to whether or not it will be useful, perhaps revising your design until it is, and then you should do what you can to code it to those specifications. If you can’t stand the heat, step away from the keyboard.
hey guess what fuck u
brains…
Brains…..
BrainS…….
BrAiNs………
BRAINS…………
somehow the only thing interesting to me is the battery temp (which is not really useful)..everything else can be done with other plugin
Actually battery temp is in a lot of others =P but yeah, it’s fun to think about… some reason… xD
Looks pretty cool.
Haha that’s the spirit!
how dase it work guys
Place the PSPInformation folder in the root of your memory stick, and then add this line “ms0:/PSPInformation/PSPInformation.prx” to your ms0:/seplugins/vsh.txt file. Go to recovery mode, and enable it. In the XMB, switch on hold, and it’ll pop up.
