Solitaire for the PSP Released

greg | November 20, 2009

If you’re like me, you like Solitaire… And it just so happens the mad beast himself, madman666, has released his own take on Solitaire for the PSP. This version is considered alpha but pretty damn stable as far as I’m concerned. After many games I’ve only encountered one bug…

You see that? Shit goes wrong 40 seconds in when I [accidentally] double-tap X on the covered 10 of spades. So if you don’t do that, you should be good. Enjoy!

Note: That bug is fixed in Alpha version 0.0.5.

That bug should be fixed in the newer version. Also you can now see all the down faced cards in the newer version as well.

I dont think a new version will be ready for a few days. I am remodeling a bathroom this weekend.

With the next version I will start adding the features.

This is only part 1, I will also be making a Pyramid and Golf Solitaire to go with it… maybe FreeCell as well

I would love to see Pyramid Solitaire added to this. I would also love to see some simple animations, and sounds, and maybe a main menu for game selection, and a pause menu for re-dealing and such.

Regardless, I’m looking forward to seeing where this goes. Keep up the good work MadMan. :)

I found a bug, but it might just be the same one from before. If you double tap a card that can move to the top spaces, and if there are still cards on top of it, the top card in the pile will move to that space, making it impossible to finish the game.
so if on the top 4 spaces, one of them is a 3 of spades. on the bottom you have 5heart, 4spade, 3diamond. if you double tap the 4 of spades, the 3 of diamonds will move to the pile with the 3 of spades.

When moving large columns to another, sometimes the cards disappear

yo madman thanks for the quick reply to my question i found out how to change the card picture by renaming C-2 to C-4 to C-1 the game thinks that whatever pic. is named C-1 will show up as the card picture.

Very nice version of Solitaire, but the ability to turn one card each time instead of three would be most welcome!
