AutoStart PRX v5.3 Released
greg | November 19, 2009
All patched up: roe-ur-boat’s AutoStart PRX v5.3… If you experienced nothing but crashes and/or memory-related errors with the earlier 5.1 or 5.2 release, then this is for you.

Version 5.3:
- Fixed a bug I added when I added support for Bubbletunes Game Categories.
- Fixed a bug where the configurator would crash if an ISO had no name…
- New GUI courtesy of aspheric.
Version 5.2:
- Fixed a stack overflow bug that caused random crashes.

The AutoStart Configurator now works but the plugin simply doesn’t work/launch any homebrew apps or games.
Would love to see more button combination like L+Note, vol- and vol+, etc. those kinds of combo.
Again, this isn’t working for me using 5.50 GEN-D2 (psp-2000) with only the following plugins enabled – CXMB and BubbleTune’s Games Category and of course this one AutoStart.
same here the program works in the since that it doesn’t freeze and allows me to select homebrew/iso but when I hold the button assigned nothing happens. Im using a psp-1000 phat 5.50 gen-d2
Holding down the assigned button while booting up is how this plugin works. Like going to the recovery menu. ROFL. I hope I cleared that up. No wonder it didn’t worked. I though you can do that on the xmb. My bad…

Finally patched up, kept on crashing and causing problems like 5.50GEN-C
are u supose to press the button u configure it to? because i am and nothings working
sounds like something really useful, i havnt tried it so i cant say anything about it.
Well, you can see he’s diligently working on it. Within a week I bet he’ll have it all worked out.
LOL. Since the author didn’t clear up how to use this homebrew plugin. Here’s how it works. After configuring your apps/games to a button. You can ONLY run the app/games while holding down the button you assigned to while turning on your psp or booting up. It’s like going to the recovery menu where you have to hold R1 while it is booting. Hope that clear things up. It’s working on my 5.50 GEN-D2 psp-slim.
finally someone who explained, thanks now it works
Didn’t work for me… Gen 5.50 B2… when I hold down the assigned button, the screen just stays black and I have to do a forced shutdown.
AutoStart PRX v5.4 was just released.

Now we can launch it via xmb. Gonna try it soon. lol.
Tried and tested using 5.50 GEN-D2 (PSP-2000). It works, lauching homebrew apps and games via xmb by pressing R1+(the assigned button). Finally! :D
