PSP Custom Firmware 5.03 GEN-B (for HEN/PSP-3000) Delayed

Trick or Treat? PSPGEN decided on “trick” and made a ghost of 5.03 GEN-B for ChickHEN and PSP-3000 owners. Scheduled for release today; however, the GEN team encountered a last minute bug and is now working to correct this. The bug –
This is not a problem with the CFW but a recovery bug. If you remember, the recovery of 5.03GEN-A already had a problem: all option lines were shuffled. The correction of this problem comes with another bug in some options like the “use version.txt” which doesn’t work anymore and prevents the launch of the MGS.
Ah well… Ya win some; ya lose some. Check back tomorrow for a possible evening release. Happy Halloween!

Well at least they are honest. I mean I was looking forward to this, It seems minor enough I’m sure this will be only delayed @ tops for today and maybe a release tomorrow.
I thank all the dev’s that have helped them with this and their time for all of us to appreciate our PSP’s!

late as always..got the news from pspgen first took you a while greg.. pump it up… might stop checking into this site pspgen does it daily and i mean daily, more posts not just on their work but reviews too. They cover everything…

does this work on any psp or only 3000
any psp however why would you want to use this when you could use a pandora for a psp 1000. Generally its only to be used for the new psp 2000s and 3000s. Hope this helps

yup, on what i know u still have to do that thing again if you accidentally turned off your psp

seriously, putting my psp 3000 in sleep mode rather than turning it off has not negatively affected my life at all. the odd crash here or there i obviously have to reboot and run the exploit n cfw again but once u get the timing down the exploit is a cake walk. anyway, that’s my 2 cents. and props to the gen team for keepin the scene alive!

If my 3000 freezes, I just restore the default settings, and after that it usually takes 2-3 times to get the ‘picture thing’ to flash green.
Its just annoying , because its always happens the most uncomfortable times. (On the bus, I always have to push battery in and out, to get it work and its a really bad situation )
And sorry for the double post, but how im gonna get this installed?
And what makes itt better than the A version ?
