Game Categories Revised v8 —
It’s the same must-have plugin you know and love, only this time, Context Menu Mode has been improved and now displays more than just 4 items. As well, v8 adds the ability to hide the uncategorized category should your homebrew be, well, uncategorized… And if it is, I gotta ask: Hello McFly!? Anybody home? Why are you using this plugin in the first place? That’s a rhetorical question, so whatever the circumstance, enjoy Bubbletune’s Game Categories v8.
Uncategorized ‘brew can be hidden by creating an empty file called “gc_hide_uncategorized.txt” in ms0:/seplugins.
Game Categories v8 Changes:
- UTF-8 support was not correctly implemented for language files, fixed.
- Improved Context Menu Mode, now shows a larger number of items instead of only four.
- Added ability to completely hide uncategorized even if there are files floating around (see readme for instructions).
- Tried to fix a rather strange crash that occured in all sorts of instances.

Hiding the “Uncategorized” homebrew is useful if you use CFWEnabler. ;)

if your not “interesting in it” why are you even making this comment? if you had a big memory card full of homebrew and ISO’s because your UMD drive broke and removed this is great! Thanks for this Plugin!!! =) always wanted something like this

What if you’ve got a shitload of homebrews and games?
Everytime you open your memory stick, you have to scroll down a lot of crap before finding the game or homebrew app you want to run. This plugin can be very useful in that case, being an organizer of sorts.
Now, if I can just figure out how to use it with PSP Game Order…

Shure you know the iso and game folder , well inside those folders name a filder called CAT_iso CAT_roms etc CAT_iso in iso folder CAT_emulator CAT_homebrew in game folder place all files in the game folder in to CAT_ to get rid of uncatagorized folder so psp says iso emulators homebrew etc enjoy

The only app i have “un-categorized” is Hellcat’s Recovery Flasher — you know the recovery menu? Open it. See that little menu option that says “Launch App at PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP”? That’s why
