Is it just me, or am I the only one on the whole Internet that finds this video plain stupid? The Go packaging does extensively indicates that the only way to play games on it is by getting them over the network. Also, getting a Go AND an UMD game for it at a gaming store is pushing a lot. The only way this could happen is if (a) the guy/clerk is completely stupid or (b) illiterate, which is not funny either way. And don’t even get me started on the whole “destroy the Go to get the UMD inside”, no comments on that.

Any fucking moron would read the box that it is packaged in, or watch the commercials on tv, or even read about it in that shit magazine Gamestop gives you for “free” with their cards and know that it doesn’t have a umd drive. Also, many people working at Gamestop would have told you that the Go won’t use old PSP games if you purchase them at the same time, it’s that much of a common thing to know.

The PSPGo is awesome for people whom actually pay for games and dont want to carry 20 umd’s around. I have a Go for the purpose of using the PSN store. Some of us dont use the PSP to pirate games, we use it for playing games which have long been dead. (SNES, Genesis, NES, Etc).

I have a 16gb that holds all the backups I have and more.
I spent $450 on my PSPs, no way I’m spending another $250 when I can use DAX’s Experimental save states.
DAX’s savestates worked for me when I had a 2gb memory stick, but now that i have a 16gb stick all it does is go blank, then turns off. Im guessing its not recognized or something. Someday it might work I suppose.
Right now my GO only has Gran Turismo Mobile, and about 10 PS1 games I purchased legally from PSN. I figure, PSN is safer then a UMD since if the GO dies, i can redownload the games. If a UMD dies, im fucked.
The second a CFW comes out for the Go, 99 percent of the haters will do a 180.
That was a funny video. A lot of people think that the PSP Go is not good because they can’t use UMDs. It’s also a struggle when you can’t use PayPal to purchase stuff from the Playstation Network for the PSP. PSN Cards are hard to come buy at Walmart & CVS. Dedit Cards have to have a MasterCard or Visa logo on it to be used with the Playstation Store.
People prefer the old PSPs (1000 or 2000[non-T88v3], end of story!
