PSPgo Welcomes the TA-091 and TA-094

I picked up my PSPgo the other day, it came shipped with firmware 5.70, and a mandatory update forced me to 6.10 as soon as I got it online… But what I didn’t know, behind all its elegance was a TA-091 motherboard, or wait… Maybe it’s a TA-094. Whatever the case – they’re new – they’re locked down. We go-getters might be waiting awhile… Keep your go close; keep your fat/slim closer.

That’s why Sony is learning from their mistakes and focusing on sealing the hardware aspect.

There is always hardware flaws, And if the data stream isn’t encrypted from one chip to another then it should be easy to read the data and pull it from the device to get what you are after! ;)
Maybe someone should do that with the PRE-IPL Business for the TA-088v3’s +.

Comparing both motherboards on the link pictures shows a different cpu etch pattern. The Go has the same one thats in the fat on up. Since the cpu is still 333Mhz,I guess they were “go-ing” for something faster than the pentium II.

instead of hacking the PSPgo, why not hack the MediaGo software which is used to transfer PSP games downloaded from PSN servers. Hack the MediaGo software, insert ISO and transfer the games via USB, right?
That actually makes a lot of sense and seems easier. If programming wasn’t the bane of my existence i would probably start working on that!

to let people know the games go on your psp in a folder and when you open it it is in eboot.pbp format and there is a .dat file with it
here is an example with patapon 2 demo on the psp go. It is in: PSP/GAME/NPUW00003/then the EBOOT.PBP and .DAT files
