iR Shell Patch for 5.50 GEN Released

Back to back… Yoshihiro with yet another reason to upgrade: the #1 multitasking shell — AhMan’s iR Shell — it’s now 5.50 GEN compatible. It’s simple… You must have iR Shell already installed. So download it if you don’t. Then copy this patch to PSP/GAME, run it, quit, the patch will self destruct (for real), and iR Shell will work from here on in.
Read more about iR Shell right here. It’s awesome — you’re likely to replace the XMB with it.

i miss irshell but this sh** patch has got rid of my custom theme and i can get it back ive took irshell off the psp and check cxmb.prx to make sure its enabled and its just showing the original themes downloaded from psn

Does this patch work with PSP1000? Coz i have patched it (all prx gives OK in log) and i’ve tried irShell 4.92 and 5.00, nothing works, it gets frozen in black screen
tried it as well, doesn’t work just black screen on the 1000. I only want it for disabling the magicgate anyways so no biggy.
can’t beat yoshihiro though, I’m still reeling from the 6.00 game decryptor, be cool if we could donate something
This patch works you must have updated to 5.50 GEN-B2 emphasis on B2 not just B. I had the same problem took me hours to finally figure it out.
Is there any other way to run 1.5 homebrew on 5.5 gen other than e loader
well yeah lol it does self destruct…. is that malicious code because it corrupts itself after using it?
why do you want to run 1.5 homebrew on 5.50 gen b2 when theres the same homebrew has updated to work on specifically it, or has been updated to without the need for 1.5 firmware meaning any homebrew enabled firmware….
truly ive never found any 1.5 homebrew that hasnt been made to work on newer firmware, well MUGEN is one but i did find a buggy updated release that doesnt work but i dont care since it hasnt recieved any updates for ages

Bricked my PSP on 5.50 gen a with this patch. What’s a replacement shell patch doing that needs to destroy the fireware?!? Hopefully it’s just a matter of sticking in my Pandora battery..
