PSP Tool v1.00 Released
greg | August 1, 2009
Over the year we’ve briefed you on Raing3’s multipurpose homebrew app for handling various Pandora and other common PSP administrative tasks: injecting and checking memory stick IPLs, backing up and restoring the battery’s EEPROM, IdStorage, converting the battery to/from service mode, and really the list goes on and on… Today, PSP Tool graduates and enters the big world of 1.00 with bug fixes and performance enhancements defining its release. Check the change log below…

PSP Tool v1.00 changes:
- Added: Detection of HEN version under System Information (thanks to Davee).
- Added: Detection of TA-088v3, TA-090 and TA-090v2 motherboards under System Information.
- Fixed: Made a change to improve the reliability of extracting an IPL using the first option.
- Fixed: If the original PSP firmware version cannot be retrieved “N/A” will be shown instead of nothing.
- Fixed: Crash if circle is enter.
- Fixed: The battery menu can no longer be accessed if the PSP does not support reading/writing to the battery EEPROM.
- Other: Changed the wave style used.
- Other: Decreased RAM usage by a massive ~2MB.

Crashes as soon as the gameboot finishes, have to hard reboot to solve. Tried changing kernel from 5.xx to 1.50. Running PSP 1000 phat 5.50 GEN-B. Please help!!!!!!
Glas to hear I am not the only one having that problem, I am also running PSP 1000 phat 5.50 GEN-B, anyone have a solution yet?
Have you tried previous versions of PSP-tool??
can someone explain wat this actually does. how does this reduce ram usage? wat in the hell is the ipl? wat is injecting/extracting the ipl do?
if you have CFW and ALSO have a Pandora battery and wish to use it as a normal battery, u cant . not without injecting an ipl….this basically injects a file into the memory stick which allows you to use your battery as normal and also use it as a Pandora battery for unbricking/downgrading perposes. if you have any more queries, do not hesitate to ask :)
