A minor but important bug fix update for junkfactory’s Music PRX Mod… It’s all detailed right below this sentence.
MusicPRX Mod for CFWE Update 1 Changes:
- Fixed in game mute. Now you can mute the game sounds and listen to your favorite music. Only tested on a PSP-2000 TA-088v3 with CFWE 3.60. May not work on all games. Junkfactory would love to hear from 3k owners if this fix worked. Please leave feedback via the source link.

works like a charm on psp phat, the in game mute is awesome =). everything works good with psp 1000.
Will this work on 5.00 M33-6? I’m not using it through CFW Enabler, that’s why I ask.

Ugh.. I swear… Most of the releases lately have been pretty lame since all the time is being put into CFWE crap.
I don’t see the problem. It’s fine that help is here for all the PSP community.
Well, it’d be nice if there was a PSN fix for us M33 users. Instead, no one cares because of CFWE and GEN firmware… It’s kinda lame…

Look up C++ on Google, or at your local library.
This does work, But doesn’t play audio. You can see the track listings but no audio is played.
I also have an 88v3 on CFWE 3.60 and yet this doesn’t even work?
God, getting sick of this site more and more.

Works on my PSP 1000 5.00 M33-6!!!
Install is just like other plugins.
From the readme.txt file:
Copy contents of bin folder (bin/*) to ms0:/seplugins/.
If you already have the vsh.txt and game.txt, do not overwrite them. Instead copy and paste “ms0:/seplugins/music_mod.prx 1″ to your own vsh and game config files.
Press SELECT+SQUARE to turn on the display.
Press SELECT+HOME to Play or Stop music.

VOLUP = SELECT|UP
VOLDOWN = SELECT|DOWN
START_STOP = SELECT|HOME
PREVIOUS = SELECT|LEFT
NEXT = SELECT|RIGHT

hey, im running cfwe 3.60,psp 3k and i had this plug in working, but something weird happend, like the screen flashed and the plug in stopped, ive tried formatting the ms, downloading fresh copies of everything but the plug in still wont work, can anybody help? cheers
I have a PSP 3004 with 5.03 GEN-A and it works but some musics dont work and i think thats because the bitrate of the musics. can someone confirm it? Thanks
