Im new at this PsP hacking etc…So I wonder if this Custom firmwire work on PsP 3000 and with the latest offical frimwire (5.51)?
Sadly no, it’s only compatible with 5.03.
Is anyone else having trouble running this plugin on the 3000 with CFE 3.60. Everything works fine until I enable PSPStates and the Patch. Then the games freeze right after the gameboot.

just one question. is this permanent, or when you reboot it resets to the original fw?
why do you need to reboot ??? use sleep mode?

i applaud the release of cfw enabler its a wonder we can do this stuff on the 3000 series. One wonders when this will fix the psp for good, this way when the psp freezes from using prx inside of games or glitches when trying to use them you could just restart the psp when needed and not have to go through all the chickhen bs just to get to cfw. dont get me wrong who dislikes cfw, it would just be nice to not have to go through the process countless times.
I don’t know why people dislike the fact that they have to restart ChickHen and CFWE. I think it’s actually great. You still have an official firmware on your machine so if something happens you can send it back to Sony and you can upgrade to an official Firmware whenever you want without trouble because CFWE doesn’t write anything to Flash0. So why bother? It takes you a second to start ChickHen and CFWE…
it is great because if your psp breaks, just take out your mem stick and give it back to sony. they wont ever know you used it. Unlike permahacks, in which you have to update back to ofw which is impossible if its broken, unless pandora lives nearby
Jocoloco – I totally agree. I’d rather do the ChickHEN and CFWE method than write to Flash0 for the same reasons you mentioned. ChickHEN R2 loads every time for me and CFWE takes a second to run after it has been installed the first time.

Alright, I have the previous version… I installed it and installed GEN-A, GEN-A didn’t work, so I left this one. Then whenever I press it now, it gives me System Software: 5.03 GEN-A (Full)… Even though I full delete GEN, and left the CFWE completely unharmed. I just want to know if this is a good thing or bad. Thank You.

to play PSX Game you need a popsloader plugin then enabled it in Recovery menu >> just google it or find it here im using it now and theres no problem ,im also a psp 3000 .. its time to await the PSP Go! .. 16GB internal memory with memory card slot ! built in bluetooth ! before i run HEN i get the cfw enabler background image n all.. after i start hen r2 n go back to games its just the default background n when i load the app screen goes blank n restarts.. it used to work but now i dunno y its not.. can someone plz help me..
does all the homebrew that works on 5.03 m33-6 work on this cfw? what cfw does this use?

if you are using chickhen mod- it wont work, use chickhen r2 or chickhen r2 mod2
Make sure you are using chickHEN R2 and not R3

Hey I got PSP 2001 (blue Madden Version) Is this able to use chickenHen on it or no? If so i got 5.55FW Anyway to downgrade to 5.03 again?
Can anyone tell me how to run the ChickHen? My CFW Enabler is not working because the PSP turned off.

yes ! my chicken r2 installing perfectly and i install CFW Enabler its opening but CFW Enabler turning off my psp 2000 . i was able to open 3 times CFW Enabler but after that and now i cant start CFW Enabler . CFW Enabler closing my psp 2000 . help me pleaseeee i will be crazy at last :((((((
I bought a PSP Slim with original firmware 3.80 and I want to know if I can use Custom Firmware Enabler 3.60 for loading iso images. Please help me because I don’t know anything about PSP Hacks and I didn’t understand very much from description and comments. Thanks.
I think this just broke my psp :( I had Gen a on it , cleared mem stick, installed chickhen, tryed loading this, flashed it , black screend crash in middle of flash back to 5.03 OFW, chickhen still loads but now I cant get Gen-B to load and it was loading before i tryed this… I think it wrote on my actual flash so im fucked… no more CFW for me I guess :(
