The full cfw for will be made when the preipl stuff can be cracked or bypassed in anyway the psp 3000 or ones with the ta-088v3 boards. Till then the cfw enabler is the best you can get. Me I still have a fat psp and can have any fw or cfw made for the psp.
I find myself hoping for sooner rather than later on full cfw install support on all models. I have a first-gen fat that has seen better days, and a few nights ago, I thought it had finally died the good death. I got it back, but not without much panic over what I’d do if it died before I could get a slim to do everything it can. :)
hahaha…. can’t wait for the full version of the program that can crack the psp 3000…..
but still thanks to those guys who never give up making the updates…..

am i the only one to note that… from ChickHEN then using 3.51, it gives you a error, but if you use 3.50, it boots up and give you a M33, so if i wanna use 3.51, i have to run 3.50 first before running 3.51.

Custom Firmware 5.03 MHU?
After upgrade my PSP to 3.51, i tried to play Chrono Cross EBOOT created by CHeska, this kick to XMB after showing the Health Screen. Now i can’t playing all of my PSX Games , this show This game cannot be played 800004…
Can someone help me ? :((

Press the Select button and, at UMD ISO MORE, choose either “M33 driver” or “Sony NP9660″. Or just have a UMD inside. Doesn’t matter if it’s a game, a demo or movie. Then the EBOOT (and ISO/CSO) will work.
And yes, it says 5.03 MHU from the sys info. Deal with it.
It’s the “New version of the system.” bullet from the changelog, by the way.
Question, does this version allow better use of plugins as i noticed that in previous versions, it comes up with an error but after using 3.50 i got the CXMB plugin to work and the music mod but i cant seem to get the hold.prx to work, i know i am doing it right and it seems to have an odd way of distinguishing between prx files.. i seem to to see alot of this.. and i dont quie understand

I tried format my PSP , uninstall CFWEnabler but it’s not work again…
I also press select and choose Sony / M33 Driver, but the same =))

what i usually do, (havent tried this version) is reboot my psp and run chickHEN all over,if CHICKHEN doesnt work after say 5 tries, restore default settings and then run CHICKHEN again after that i simply run CFWENABLER (whatever version) and simple as that, boots to my CXMB and i start my iso/cso’s
simple i guess, but i am hearing speculation as to what to do, try this and please post back

It’s done the exact same way as in 3.50. But I would suggest your main concern be on installing a spell checker. Just something to consider for the future.

Hey, im using a PSP 2001 model and used this CFWEnabler, with ChickHEN, it worked and came up to the menu, and then enjoyed some hombrew. THEN, my psp was turned off and i loaded the CFWEnabler again, it didn’t show the menu but just came back to XMB with 5.03 MHU. i shut it off again and later i turned it on, NOW when i try to use it with ChickHEN, it always goes to the PSP screen (loading an app), and when the white screen fades, it just shuts off.
anything wrong here?
