I think their trying some PSN store features to see how well it would be on the Go so then they can make ajustments and such to find the best running stuff on the PSP go

Dax,you gotta release the 5.51 m33 cause my psp ofw is 5.50 and I can’t update it to 5.50 gen-a and i need cfw for my psp 5.50.

1. To dude: even if DAX made another M33, you still need a pandora battery.
2. DAX probably wont make an M33 for his firmware coz its not significant enough.
3. Edison Carter needs to update LCS cheatdevice coz it doesnt work on higher M33 versions such as 5.00 M33 or higher.
4.By 2011 sony will have probably stopped prducing UMDs because the PSP Go doesn’t need them, which means, unless the digital downloads get hacked, which is very unlikely, an end to free ISOs/CSOs for us.

hey i was wondering if the is any hacks for a psp running on firmware 5.51 such as games or like any hacks for firmware 5.51

Same question as a lot of people have, I hacked the Wii so decided to try the PSP as Im sick of the slow release of any decent PSN PSOne Games. With the hacks I can put CC or FF games on the PSP.

But I updated to 5.51 so now when i try the custom firmware it says “corrupt data” blah blah..is there anything I can do?

i dont understand most of you people all know that sony pushes out these updates to stop the hackers out there from hacking there device. U should all know NEVER TO UPDATE your PSP device. this was rule #1 since firmware 1.51 came out that only patched the TIFF problem that hackers found in the system.
so lets see less then 1 week after the psp was rls a tiff was rls to hack it. what did sony do patched it and rls 1.51 on there server so all the dumb tarts in the world would go HEY THERE IS A NEW UPDATE it must have some cool stuff in it. ( BUT DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING BUT A PATCH OF THE TIFF )
So how many people out there downloaded the 1.51 because they had no cule and just thought it was a new update of new feats. MANY is the word. the only people that dont update anything are people waiting for hacks and stuff like that.

seems that with this new update sony is trying there best to stop the newer units from not doing this anymore. but guess what sonys team of people are just not as smart as the hackers in the scene.

its just a big cat and mouse game and we are winning the game so the cat is just mad and needs to get that little mouse because its staving right now

Dammit! I updated my PSP 3000 to 5.51, then found out about stuff like the HEN. Anyway, does anyone agree with me on this? Here goes: Sony should make an OFW that downgrades the PSP itself. I mean look at all the stuff the iPhone can do! Do the above so WE can put homebrew apps on the PSP. We worked for our money. I’m gonna spend it on an iPhone. F |_| € ]< the PSP go. Me too, upgraded my PSP to 5.51… Been reading all I could find about hacking it on the web. So I got my hopes back up when I read about about ChickHEN R3, but now it seems that R3 release won’t be made to hack 5.51 firmware, but 5.50 firmware, so what am I supposed to do ?

Is there no way to hack my psp ? No way to downgrade it ?

If anyone has valuable information about hacking the psp once it’s running FW 5.51, please share.

As many of you, I was one of those people who had no idea about the hacking world when I first purchased my PSP 3000. Like a kid with a brand new toy, I wanted everything to be updated and to the best performance….So I also updated the PSP 3000 to 5.51 and later came to notice that it could hacked. I love the PSP and would love so very much to customize it to it’s full potential. As many of you I would like a Customized Firmware for 5.51 or a way to downgrade it without being “bricked.” I know sooner or later that dream will come true, but I think we all need to wait patiently for the hack team to do their magic. Hopefully someone is out there right now putting their PSP at risk for our sakes.

actually the psp go is hackable.i got a hands on and i created a way how to hacke it.and some other web sites found a way to hack it too.psp go is really just a psp that looks differnet and internet much easer but its still like a psp 1000

I just got my psp a few days ago from a friend. it was allready updated with the 5.51 fw. I had no idea about all the possible mods for previous versions. I am racking my brains looking for some way to mod this damn thing. Is there any possible way to revert back to a previous fw without using a pandora battery??
