Unofficial CXMB for Custom Firmware 5.03 GEN/M33: Load CTF Themes on the PSP-3000 *Updated*

Update: Unofficial CXMB v2 from Total_Noob:
- You can disable the theme:
- Go to Settings->Theme settings->Theme
- Apply the original(Sony) theme
- Delete the Custom Theme
- It reboot to the Sony theme
- Fixed the wallpaper bug
- Supported all FWs of CXMB 3.3 by Poison and 5.02
- In the zip is also a CTF_converter.exe to convert 5.00 CTF themes for this unofficial cxmb
PSP-3000 and/or PSP-2000 owners with the TA-088v3 board can now load CTF themes without risk of bricking their handheld, thanks to Total_Noob’s unofficial version of Poison’s CXMB for Custom Firmware 5.03 GEN-A.
Total_Noob mentions 5.02 CTF compatible themes, whether or not 5.00 CTF themes are compatible, that’s a different story. Try it out and leave your experience below. We have some themes available here.

wowo i guess i am the first one to post a comment..(>.<) yahh….well back on topic..great job the total noob team amazing progress but my only question will the 5.03 GEN-A custom firmware remain even when i reboot the psp.. thank you for your replies

well i read the readme.. and lets just say that shet does not make any sense..and in the last post.. for GEN A custom firmware the readme specifically said..not to install custom themes..well..what is this bull shet..i do not trust it one bit and besides M33 all the way ==
also to address the problems before with he 2000 v3 users i am having the same problem and doesnt seem any of this is meant for us..
stick with CFW enabler (m33) best a man can get =]
OK install is like this
1.cxmb folded base of stick
2.edit vsh text in seplgins folder if need too/sould say(ms0:/cxmb/cxmb.prx 1)
next enter hen /then -gen503 -then recovery menu tru vsh menu .you will find plugins under cpu speed in recovery
enable cxmb!
next -reboot fully! -when you get back to 503 gen go to theme and select a theme
remember to convert themes for 503 gen!
work basicly same as old cxmb.

nvm i found a 5.00 CTF to 5.02 converter

What if you brick your 3000 installing this? There’s no way to recover yet, is there?
I can’t see how you would brick your 3000 considering that it doesn’t touch your flash0 at all.

CFWLoader 3.20 and I put all the files and folders int the right place. When I open CFWLoader and select plugins it says ERROR! No Plugins Found. What do I do?

Since I’ve installed 5.50GenA no cxmb theme works at all on my 1ooo P.H.A.T. model , no matter what…copying over all files…got the theme in the THEME folder…? I don’t get it, does it gotta do with the FW version?

Go to the CXMB folder in your memory stick and delete the conf.txt

It works like a charm !! but there’s a problem..
the ctf theme is working on my psp 3000 but quick scrolling in games and enter it will freeze .. am i only the one having this problem ?!?!?!?!
example: enter into your iso games data : scroll 1 2 3 then back to the 1st game and enter the game.. it will freeze .. why??
Hey there, I tried this, and moved the folders inside full to my PSP Directory and converted a 5.00M33 Theme, but still it doesn’t show in the Theme Settings>Theme’s Lists.
And the PSP I’m owning is PSP 3007, hacked with ChickHenR2, and enabled with CFWEnabler 3.60 by Xenogears and Becus25. In system info it shows as Firmware Version: 5.03 MHU

I have a PSP 2000, hacked with ChickHenR2 and enabled with CFWEnabler 3.60 by Xenogears and Becus25…it shows that the version is 5.03 MHU. Can I make my PSP sport CTFs without doing harm to it? Please help me out, I’m new to hacking PSPs…
