If you’re looking to change, or spoof, your PSP Version and/or Mac Address located under Settings -> System Settings -> System Information, then make it happen with Davee’s latest… Released is a new version of his Unlimited Character PSP Version & Mac Address Spoofer.

The reason that people spoof MAC address’ is two reasons: They are on a network that is locked into a set MAC address access, or you are blocked from a network by MAC address, in which case this is helpful. I also wrote one for Ubuntu that spoofs your MAC address on your PC. They can be helpful.

I can only think of 1 practical use for this: approaching the hottest girl at the club/bar and saying to her “Hey, wanna check out my MAC address?”. She’ll quickly say, “HELLZ YEH!”. She’s so impressed that next thing you know, your both back at her place where she’s showing your her MAC address.
This method has only been tested a few times and has worked for me. But beware, I recently witnessed some poor dude try to use this as a pick up method and unfortunately for him, this girl wasn’t as ‘easy’ as other girls. She poured her drink on him and lit the man on fire with her cigarette screaming “THATS THE WORST PIECE OF SOFTWARE SHIT PIECE OF CACTUS FUCK I HAVE EVER SEEN!! DIE MUTHA FUCKAAAA!! DIIIIIIIIIE!!”. So PLEASE beware of the caveat.

In case for those with Youtube videos that like to hide they’re Mac address they can just spoof it to something like ||||||||||||||||||||||| so they don’t see anything.

The dash hacks network, will eventually hack the 5.50 firmware from Sony.
Correction, Dash-hacks probably won’t hack it it’s just a news center where they collect a bunch of news and post it up here so you can see it easier than having to go to many sites.
On the Mac Address you don’t have to use : every time in fact you don’t even have to use it at all Mine says “It’s corrupted”

No they just have many hundred smart programmers to help make it somewhat unhackable at the moment
It has absolutley nothing to do with 5.50… its the motherboard…
the only reason 5.03 can do anything is because of an expliot… 5.50 is not differnt from any other firmaware (aside from 1.50, Downgradeable’s, and 5.03)
And duh there programmers are smart…
its easier to find an expliot then it is to make it “Un-Hackable”

Don’t add the line “ms0:/seplugins/sysconf_spoofer.prx 1″ Use “ms0:/seplugins/version_spoofer.prx 1″ instead.
