Im at 5.03
So I Installed and ran ChickHen R2 on my PSP 3000.
Then i ran the CFW 3.6 to 3.1. They all ended in “Custom firmware cannot be installed”
I tried with GEN-A for HEN and got blackscreen to shutoff after SUCCESS message and pressing O.
Can someone plz enlighten me? I would REALLY be thankful. My stick is Sony.

So, if this is actually flashing something, why does it not run at every startup? Why isnt the data persistant? I have to redo this every time I restart.

Anyway, its very good work. Hopefully we will soon get to the point where it does run at every startup.

Thank you, Esco. So it is not possible to load 2.5 in ONE step after successfully loading ChickHEN? In all instructions for Custom Firmware Enabler I have read none state that you require an older ChickHEN to be launched first. I think it IS possible to launch 2.5 straight away if you have not installed an earlier version first. Would be great to know how to uninstall earlier versions.

uh question.. so with this homebrew running via CHICKHEN (correct me if i am wrong) can install a custom firmware (for the duration of the PSPs use..meaning when it shuts off after the CFWenabler was run an flashes a custom firmware.. when i restart it i will have the same custom firmware.. or rather will revert back to officail.. seeing as how i am bit confused =] please reply

All I did was re-install 1.0 and then from there I installed 2.50. Seems you need an older version installed to make it work.

Now my only issues are figuring out plugins and POPS, but those will come in time :D

I have 1 question.. i used the 2.10 version.. then i played Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core.. then it hangs and shuts down.. and wen i turned it back on its back to normal.. but i was able to run ChickHEN again to it.. then i found this post.. i wonder if it will help me play the Crisis Core? PLease reply asap.. dT_Tb
