DayViewer Beta 2 Released *Updated*

greg | May 25, 2009

Update: Total_Noob has released DayViewer BETA 2 –

  • Added a text file to translate the days and change the time and date format
  • More stable
  • Supports all date format
  • Supports 12 hour clock time format

Go grab your PSP and look at the date/time in the upper right corner, now look at the screenshot… That’s right — thanks to Total_Noob — display the day of the week alongside the date and time. It’s that simple.

DayViewer Screenshot

Copy dayviewer.prx to the seplugins directory on your memory stick and enable it from the recovery menu.

Very nice. Keep up the great work, maybe someone could make a % for remainder of battery left.

There’s already something for that… dont know what its called though…

a lot of CTF’s have it, just look around

2009-05-26 16:59:16

A lot of CTFs have a “fake” battery percentage meter, that just replaces the 5 icons with images reading 100%, 80%, 60% etc. I’ve never seen a real one.

One thing I noticed is that you must have 24hr clock enabled under time settings for this to work.

2009-05-25 22:55:45

OOOOH! I was going to try this out but I hate using military time. If this was to work with regular time I would be all for it.

yeah, I agree. I don’t like military time either.
Total_Noob, In the next release could you make work with the 12 hour clock also?

Also it seems like it doesn’t work if you select “DD/MM/YYYY”

There are far better plugins then thhis one… Almost this one is not bad.

However i do agree with you mango…

Yeah Unchained, almost this one not bad. But it’s nifty quite. However NEW plugins oftentimes bear plugins good.

Comment by nemesiszero
2009-05-26 12:06:28

12 Hour Clock

YYYY/MM/DD -> Not Supported
DD/MM/YYYY -> Displays Day Only
MM/DD/YYYY -> Not Supported

24 Hour Clock

YYYY/MM/DD -> Not Supported
DD/MM/YYYY -> Works Perfectly
MM/DD/YYYY -> Not Supported

Remember its just a beta give sometime it will probably support all date formats soon.

WUT,awsome but i really don`t understand why the dev`s working so hard on progs like hen or cfw enabler if it`s not possible to load cfw in the first way.
Why not shake hands with miriam and use the gripshift/kernel exploit there was a way to flash a few files so u don`t ever need to run 2 prog`s to play u`r backups…maybe they are all 1 dev group DAX,DAVEE and Miriam?
REMEMBER the m33 joke ;-)

C’mon sarcasm or not, this is the ultimate test of performance and ability of the PSP’s engineering. Consider yourselves grateful to have embraced such an inspiring form of human expression. Every now and then humanity experiences a temporary burst of genius, think of Einstein, and Da Vinci, now our generation can finally say that WE have among us a mind so advanced that their creative potential would be considered as being far beyond the realms of this universe. Forget the medical breakthroughs and other scientific and technological advances, THIS is where its at people!
