Well I’ve witnessed one or two PSP apps similar to what you’re about to download, maybe… And while the idea is a certainly cool one, it’s sad to say they never blew up. So what is it? J3r3mie’s xDownload is like Cydia for the iPhone/iPod Touch: download apps, games, themes, whatever homebrew — direct to your PSP’s memory stick. Oh and by the way, it’s en français.

I don’t know why it hasn’t become a homebrewing standard to support language files so that third parties can translate apps without having to modify source code or reverse engineer.
Needless to say, this certainly looks like a very nice app, although I’m not the biggest fan of the fonts used, aesthetically. :P

WHY are people messing around with homebrew stuff on the 3000? No sympathy here because obviously the risk is huge.
Thanks for posting false information. It’s exactly the same code used for the application. All I have done is replaced the French text with English text. If your 3000 is really bricked, it’s not from my patch.
Thanks. Worked great. However Utilities is still in french, but I dont think that can be fixed via the “SCRIPT.LUA” file.
If you are talking about the Utilities categories being in French, that’s something I can’t translate. That data is read from the server and stored in the database, so every time you updated the database it would be overwritten.

um this is psp hacks not nintendo hacks and no the only way to run home brews on the dsi is with a special ds game cartrige that has a micro sd slot in it and only one works most of the old ds lite ones dont work

Replace the original file with this one. Also you may want to change the db file so that it says games and utilities etc – but I never bothered with that ;-)
English version is on consolespot and it hasn’t bricked my PSP 1000
