Speed varies on the ISP side (Internet Service Provider). So if you tried it on a Sunday morning when everyone in your network is asleep, then OF COURSE you would see an improvement.
What this mod does is it increases the cache memory. So when you load the same web page, again, it doesn’t download the files required. It just uses them from the cache folder. It’s pretty stupid that Sony only limited it to a maximum of 2048 KB (2 MB). Something like this should’ve been available from Sony not the homebrew community. :)

I thought that this was only for slims.
try changing your kernel from 1.50 to 5xx. this should fix your problem.
put both the files in PSP/GAME
your structure should look like
PSP/GAME/HighMemMod/
PSP/GAME/PSPTube/
Delete the old Ultimate PSPTube to avoid confusion.

where should i put hiGh mem. eboot and .prx? if i replace ultimate psptube to high men. eboot it doesnt work!
high mem is just an app, it an internet explorer, put it in your PSP/GAME folder, as for the psptube 2.0 speeded up version, doesnt work on my phat one :(
ok this is weird, it wont load from the XMB but it will load from xplora for psp, hmmmm, and yet it still wont show it is loading with high memory mod, dammit, what do i do?

PSPTube uses all the memory of the slim anyway… I don’t see how this will help >.<

How would you know that? I came up with the idea to make this and I even persuaded ardatan to release the Netfront high memory mod. We wouldn’t have done that if it couldn’t be made faster.
Just try it for yourself. When I first tested this for Ardatan, I tried this on a video that buffered REALLY SLOW on the normal psptube. And with this it played fine. (On sundays the old one works quite well but on week days not)
Same problem here…copyed it to my /PSP/GAME folder, starts it…and says “Loadin Large Memory PSP Tube” or whatever, then it exits to the XMB…using 5.00 M33-6…the old PSP Tube worked, and the Netfront Beta2 release works just fine…any hel…don’t know what to do…
noticed a .prx file copyed it to seplugins folder enable it in the recovery menu. but still nothing happens…same problem
Anyone having problems try renaming your original Ultimate PSPTube folder to just PSPTube(No Ultimate in front).Good Luck.

I’ve already got Ultimate PSPTube 2.0 in my PSP/Game folder; now, do I onlu need to copy the map ‘HighMemMod’ to the same folder, and put the plugin in the seplugins folder and activate it?
Just copy high mem mod to GAME folder and rename original Ultimate PSPTube folder to just PSPTube.
Ok, this is to help you guys.
IF you cant get it to work then get the regular Ultimate psptube 2.0
Next get the internet accelerator mod beta 2, get it from a different dowload than this one, and just take the folder with the eboot inside it and put it in the PSP/Game folder of your memory stick.

All you that have problems your file structure should look like this.
PSP/GAME/PSPTube (Not Ultimate PSPTube)
PSP/GAME/HighMemMod
Do not put the .prx in Seplugins just leave alone.

put both files in PSP/GAME
delete the previous versions of psptube cuz the one provided is the latest. when on the psp u’ll see psptube and psptube-highmemmod, psptube is just the regular psptube while psp-tube high mem mod is a loader that frees up the ram before loading psptube

you can put the HighMemMod in irshell as predefined homebrew
but the psptupe folder must be in the game folder(hardcoded )and named PSPtube…
anyway its already bundle that way in the pack available in this forum…
running with latest cfw, set the files up like DEP101 said…psp tube works fine however i get the error when the mod tries to load psp tube, make any sence? thanks

evertime i open up high mem mod on my psp i cant connect to the internet. it shows netgear as an option but its grayed out so i cant pick it…
