176 XMB Waves for 5.00
greg | April 10, 2009
Update: Use this (WaveFlasher) to preview and flash your wave of choice.
It’s not a full-fledged theme; it’s 176 custom XMB waves converted by buckeyes937 for custom firmware 5.00. Copy your desired wave — the system_plugin_bg.rco file — to the flash0:/vsh/resources directory. Then set Settings -> Theme Settings -> Background -> Classic from the XMB.

finally a nice collection.. except most of these are already out. they are just put together here.
This is a collection of old waves but they have been changed so that they dont semi-brick your psp if you accidentally change the theme to original.
Hay thanks for posting front page. This is my first work that made front page here. :)
You deserve it. Nice work!

Haha! Brutha Front page on everything you posted it on so why not here?
Anyways I said it once i’ll say it again nice wave collection..
But why’d you use RCO Editor would’ve been alot easier to use Wave Injector…
Right on! How did you convert them?
Nm, I found Nothingface420’s post from a few days ago on consolespot.
Didn’t use nothingface’s guide though I used the rco editor.
Ooh. Is there a tutorial for that too or am I just dumb and it’s really straight forward?
I was just curious cuz this got me wanting to make some waves for 5.00 now (even tho my waves usually turn out crappy) and wasn’t really sure the best way to go about it. But I realize this probably aint the best place to ask. :P But anyways thanks for puttin in the work to covert these over for everybody. Some old favs of mine in there. :D
Can’t wait to try
Huh. I wonder if it’s about time I upgrade from 3.90 M33-3.
Any Other Chance for psp 3000 series to hack…coz i have psp 3000 series and its so sad for me :((
I see some Plasma – LOLLERWAVES.
Nice, i dunno if il try it,
I remember I used to do them the old cxmb way where it just makes a flash0 folder in the psp root. alot safer.
how do i edit the color as in make the pink black or something so the themes look right
im kinda new to this stuff i ahve 5.00 m33-6 but i really dont know how this should be installed
I accidently semi-bricked my phat 1001 with 5.00 M33-6. I set the option [Classic] to [Original] (I didn’t know it would cause a semi-brick). How can I un-brick it?
Can I go to recovery, advanced, toggle usb (flash 1), look at the files, delete my custom wave, load my psp, set the option back to [Classic], then re-install it? If not, how can I unbrick it?
