Welcome j13dj’s PSP Live TV to the homebrew mix… PSP Live TV is another modified version of SofiyaCat’s PSPTube, which unlike Ultimate PSPTube, supports several french channels and they’re live… I guess… It is mentioned select channels are buggier than others; keep that in mind when you’re browsing through.

Even though it’s french tv, it’s still amazing for the fact that it’s live
whens thee gunna be a hulu mod for psp tube, that would be awesome.
i saw on another site that he was looking for help on it, and if its a modified version that means some one should be able to add more channels easily, since some of the simple channels are starting to broadcast online now, also that being said i wonder if this can be adapted to sites like blog tv, stick cam or blogstar
ok great idea but non of this worked only one channel was the dance one with major lag, yes i know its just a psp but o well didn’t work for me

I don’t know man. aien’t sony got that thing where you can watch live tv on your psp from your home? I think It’s called free location player? or something.

Hmm, so now this app is available. Yes, it was ok, but a lot of the channels didn’t work and when they did, the images weren’t moving.
But to continue what I was saying… Now this app is available, would it be long before an Application is out where you can watch Shoutcast TV directly on the PSP, even by just typing in the URL? I know there will many codecs which will need to be used in watching these programs, and ofcourse some of the servers have some high streams (128, 356kbps+) but then, that could tangent off and may be a “K-Lite Codec Pack” could be introduced in to the PSP.
I know that’s pretty farfetched, but this Application is a start, a fundamental foundation to which any Streaming Live TV Application could base on.
Great now all we need is some english channels… btw pmp vlc streamer works for the slim now, If we can get a channel browser wer’re all set I’ve stream live video to my psp with it over the internet

imagine that this app could also somehow connect to a jail broken iphone running the free adhoc wifi routing prog “Pdanet”….. it works for laptops at blazing speeds whilst on the move… why cant this work with a jailbroken iphones pdanet …. someone needs to do this!!!! CHRIST! how many ppl who have hacked psp’s have jailbroken iphones??? TONS id imagine!

I’m sure this Application would be able to go online with PdaNet mate. If you’re in a 3G connection area too, you’ve got no problems in the download speed for the videos you will receive on your PSP. So therefore, you’ve got TV on the go! But I’m sure there is an app out there somewhere on the iPhone to watch live TV anyway, so it’s just a weight you don’t need to carry!
Would it not be a really cool homebrew app that could use the ‘OD’ (On demand) ‘channels’, like BBC Iplayer.
Yes! That would also be fantastic!
What I’d like to see though is a PSP which you can connect to the net WITHOUT wi-fi connection, possibly like a 3G or EDGE connection, so you can browse the net anywhere. I’m sure there are going to be many features in the new PSP, but not this. Imagine the amount of people which would actually buy a PSP if you could freely move about and access the internet. And further more, a browser which could run YouTube and embedded players on the internet browser.. Oh, it’s just a dream!

i hav iphone 3g jail braked and psp, using my iphone to get psp online wud be sik i wud be able to play ps3 in my astra it wud be cool if new irshell gets adhoc to iphone
You can edit the files and find links like mms://a466.l3760651364.c37606.g.lm.akamaistream.net/D/466/37606/v0001/reflector:51364 for cnn live and edit the .asx files to watch US shows
