Man, I can’t wait to try this out. Greats thanks to everyone who help create this.
Ryan
dont get to excited folks mario works but thats really about it not zelda, no paper mario pretty much the same as it was b4 the new version with a little better sound for mario 64
yeah the emulator stills sucks. smash bros is no differnt. goldenete still is laggy as shit. don’t give me shit about i can’t do it any better. save it. they’re bragging about this thing and there’s no sound and it’s lagging as shit. you can’t enjoy a game with no sound. and when’s it’s skipping like crazy.
goldeneye
Agreed. Why don’t I just pull down my pants, squat over my PSP, and take a STEAMY-D on my PSP screen and brag to everyone about my Emulator ??
Paper Mario didn’t work at all before…
Indieguy, its like you haven’t done any research at all on this project..
Goldeneye is a particularly hard game to emulate and is very “hacky” you can’t expect it to work by the snap of your fingers.
Nevermind this bastard.
This fucking asshole is only trying to act cool by bashing you guys.
Saddly he doens’t seem to understand that he only ends up with fail.
why would i want to look cool? that comment made no sense.i have a serious complaint on the emulator. i’m not bashing anyone. the only 2 things i’m bashing is your bad grammer and the emulator.
lol, owned.
grammar
I’m guessing this is a no go for us phat a$$es. Thanks all the same.
They’ve said before that they weren’t going to make a slim only version. You phatties are a go.
We aren’t going to single out people with the PSP-1000 as mentioned by XIYL.
There are a few slim only optimisations but nothing is stopping us use different methods so that we can be cross compatible between revisions. (Although Slims are lighter and much more vibrant =) )
StrmnNrmn still uses a phat (well for now) so there.
MUST TRY IT OUT
anyone know any GOOD N64 games
were can i get games to put it on this emulator
lol wut a retard
yeah ha GET out of here Fuck head
wow, take it easy guys!
google is the way to go!;)
if you cant find the answer to this question and want it email me @ shadowkilla032346@yahoo.com
you noob.
stfu u.
fuking noob.
gay piece of crap.
Bashing on newbs is even more noob.
I doubt you would have this much courage irl.
bastard.
My irony meter just exploded.
you fucking retard learn how to spell. who are you my dad? STFU faggot.
This is wicked good mario64 plays near perfect thanks to all the ppl who made this happen :)
woo hoo! yeah one game. with no sound.
Have you tried any games yet?
I suggest you try Micro Machines, Rampage, Forsaken 64, Duke 3D,Mario Kart, Puzzle bobble (and bust a move)
Give them a whirl and come back and say that.
come on wally i already have those games from other emulators.007 is my fav.
What do u mean no sound on mario? When I was playing it the sound worked great
lol yaaaaaay i’m like a kid in a candy store. thanks a lot for the update!
allllllllllllllll hail!! Daedalus is outttttttt!!!! xDDDDD
just play it on the N64…
It wouldn’t be portable now would it ;)?
I’m taking a guess that this will require the slim. Anyone actually tried it on the phat?
no in fact they probably aren’t going to make a pure slim only port ever according to strmnnrmn the extra ram would not help emulation all that much.
http://strmnnrmn.blogspot.com/search/label/psp%20slim
There are things we have done for slim users but very secretly, we’ve addressed up to 16MB of ram to load each rom into ram. But rest assured there will be a way to do this for the phat and for largish (32MB Up) roms.
Alright a new system emulated.
Is this the highest console left to emulate on the psp? or would that be the Sega Saturn attempt? Either way it’s great for people that never got a chance to play any of the N64 games that were good. Now to go find some of those.
Somone got the dreamcast OS emulated on a PSP but no games can run hahaha.. and Saturn will never happen (someone did try tho) because they used three different CPUs to handle different stuff and PSP can’t emulate all of them.
Oh and by the way is there an option I have to turn off for this version because it crashes when I go to load the Mario64 ROM and it worked on the last version for me. I’m using the same ROM file and the same settings as before and I disabled all my plug ins just to be sure none were interfering. Any ideas? It does give me an option to dump a crash report but it locks up and never creates the log.
This is probably the hardest to emulate from whats already out there. I would like to see an attempt at a Dreamcast emulator..MVSC2!
Works fine on phats as far as I can tell
Alright. I’ve just tested it on the Phat. It’s very staticy sound when the emulation is in process with the Synchronous, but when you switch the Audio to Asynchronous, it’s near enough perfect, yes.. There are some slow scenes, and yes, the audio ISN’T PERFECT, but, it’s fantastic compared to the old versions of Daedalus. There is no lagging in game whatsoever when the Audio is off either. I can see this Emulator will be near enough, if not perfect within the next couple of months.
Next revision won’t need or have Asynchronous sound, so this is why we haven’t bothered fixing it.
When the CPU goes on the ME,the sound will stay on the main processor along with the graphics.
We are hoping Release 3 will be a much more stable release (probably a month or two before we’ll see it though as a lot of work has to be done yet before the CPU gets to the Media Engine)
Synchronous sound is much more stable, works better with some roms.. (Micro Machines is a great example, async
sounds ugly but sync sound perfect and it stays full speed (Mainly those nasty 2D Games)
Sorry, that was when playing Mario 64, I forgot to mention that
How does Super Smash Bros run? That’s the only game I’m interested in.
Runs ok with async or sync sound but the sound seemed to turn off after the first round for me..so disabled sound i’m sure it runs perfectly
Sweet. That’s a start. I think I’ll check this out now :D
I’m probably getting my hopes up, but I’m gonna try some WWF games too.
Anyone have a chart of how popular games work on this compared to the older versions?
yay! I can’t wait to try this out!
I was playing there old beta last night wishing it was the new on ;)
Pardon me greg but you forgot to credit me :P
Also, those with bugs, register at http://www.spiffup.org/bugtrack
oops, my bad… I knew it looked one short. Post amended. Thanks. :)
Is it just me or is anyone having else problems playing roms? I know I have everything right. I unzipped the file and put the DaedalusX64 folder onto my memory stick like this PSP>GAME.
I have a PHAT PSP firmware 5.00 M33-6. I start up DaedalusX64 and everything works just fine then when I click on the rom and start it all it just goes to a black screen. My psp is still functional I can exit back to the XMB and everything.
I know my roms are right because I was playing them last night with the DaedalusX64 Beta 1.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Best thing to do is save your Roms, delete the DaedalusX64 folder from PSP>GAME, and reinstall it. You’ve probably just installed over the Beta 1, which could cause you problems.
Extreme is spot on,
There are various updates outside of the emulator (such as the INI file (This is VERY IMPORTANT as it stores all the Rom SaveTypes and other bits and pieces related to booting each rom and if mario looks like this, “SUPER MARIO 64″ then you haven’t got the Roms.ini in the folder)
I’d recommend deleting the roms.db and preferences.ini after each release as a lot is usually changed.
I did a fresh install and am getting the same problem but I’m on a slim running 5.00m33-6. Is there an option I have to turn off for this version because it crashes when I go to load the Mario64 ROM and it worked on the last version for me. I’m using the same ROM file and the same settings as before and I disabled all my plug ins just to be sure none were interfering. Any ideas? It does give me an option to dump a crash report but it locks up and never creates the log.
Did you replace the roms.ini file though?
The preferences.ini and Rom.DB have to be deleted as well.
Also make sure you aren’t running any plugins on the slim, all roms lower than 16MB are loaded into Ram.
I deleted everything but I figured it out kind of feel stupid accidentally had async sound on oops durrrr… lol
I’ve only tried one game (LOZOOT) and it didn’t play too good. It was very laggy even with the sound disabled and the recommended settings. I’ll try others to see how good it is.
Thanks, I can’t wait for a final version!
the final version won’t be any different dude. since the first release of the n64 emulator it’s been lagging ever since. all games the good games 007, smash bros. can’t be fully enjoyed. because of lag and the terrible sound. garbage emulator.
And hello to you too!
Give him the source code and see if he can do any better hahahahahahahaha….It will be like reading a foreign language to him I bet.
seriously IndieAsshole, get a fucking life! retard
OOT is one that we are working on, hopefully Version 3.0 will be much better in handling this game! (We are currently looking at around ~20% speedup if things go to plan with the ME)
Seeing Mario is around 25 FPS (with audio) in level now (no Frameskip, I hate Frameskip) thats 2.5 *2 = 5 extra FPS, which pushes it to full speed, there most likely will be more optimisations along the way so it’ll be syncing over 100% in lots of places :D
Kokori Village in Zelda is like 14 FPS ATM, 2.8 extra. makes it 16.8 and Zelda requires 20FPS but then again, things could go really well and we’ll see more!
any one know what games work i was playing mario on the older version of the emulater same with star fox but those r the only 2 i can still get to work, diddy kong racing worked sorta have of the graphics would not apear
ya nvm this does make it a lil faster n clearer but my psp keep either crashing or freezing up i m going back to the last version
does this work on a psp slim 3000 version 5.02 or w/e :O? plz respond :D or just email me at pspds4me@hotmail.com
No, it has to either be 1.50 OFW, or CFW.
It’s faster, but besides that not a lot of improvement. Sound is still unbearable: In synchronous mode, it sounds absolutely hideous. In asynchronous mode, it bluescreens instantly, and the buttons don’t even respond to dump the crash info. It freezes if I try to load the Ocarina debug ROM.
Load time is still pretty high on some ROMs, while others start up instantly. I’m sure my ROMs all have the same byte order, and they’re not compressed. It seems like the load time scales exponentially with the ROM size. (Mario Kart 64 starts right away, while Paper Mario takes minutes. And then doesn’t boot anyway. D: )
Banjo-Kazooie takes several seconds to start up (and then has some funky colours), it looks like it’s not working, but it will. Until you get to the end of the first scene of the intro, then it just hangs.
DKR still has no graphics. T_T
Notable improvements: it’s a LOT faster, and my Mario Kart hack runs now. :D (Or at least the old beta does… need to put the final version in.) Mario 64 is just about perfect, even there the sound is lousy but not bad enough to be unusable.
By far the biggest issue though is that your website and bug tracker both require registration to view. Laaaaaame.
tl;dr: It’s awesome, but you’ll still be disappointed if you’re the kind who just can’t stand to play games without the sound. :(
This app was the main reason I got a PSP, so it’s nice to see it make so much progress. :D
Well first off all the roms that you just listed have issues in all well known PC emulators, and you expect them to work? The debug rom on PJ64 requires some workarounds to work, Paper Mario almost never works good at best, and Banjo series has always had glitches in emulation. Sorry bud, but try something simpler that is less emulator intensive. MK,SM64, etc.
EDIT:
Ya you mentioned those already. Lol. Not trying to flame tho :)
Heh, the website and bug tracker require registration just to be that little bit more secure.
We don’t want rubbish comments like we see on many sites (The guest feature is wayy too abused)
I might make the bug tracker guest capable though, you make a point.
Then again it takes 5 seconds to fill in the forum.
Oh fuck yes. Time to play some Zelda.
XXXcelent work. Ive been dying to get zelda working on the psp. All my favorite games are for the n64. Keep it up
Call me when you get this thing running as smoothly as the NES emulators.
Until then, go fuck off somewhere with this shit.
hahahah
yeah plus to get wireless two player to work untill then go fuck off
Oh shut up. It’s called a Beta for a reason. So STFU and GTFO.
exactly. the call will never come. how long has it been that they’ve been working on this 2 years now? give me a break. someone in this forum that has a brain.
Dude.. We’ve only been working on it for 6 months or less.
Now you’re saying we wont get anywhere??
Go get a life.. come back when you have one.
I suppose I’ll copy your quote into a text document and then you’ll be brushed off in a future teaser video when things work really well
It’s funny that YOUR telling anyone to “get a life”….
Now that’s calling the kettle black.
Now, look at yourselves.
Those two dudes made a 64 emulator for us!
They didn’t earn any money with it!
They could surely keep this for them selves, but they decided to share.
You pieces of shit. You can’t even install a simple program on your computer and now all you are doing is complaining.
FUCK OFF.
Be grateful they did this for you and STFU.
Kids, or people who act like kids, (You guys) are the cancer of humanity.
Erm, no, AIDS. No matter how hard you try, it will never be erradicated.
Fuck. Mankind is doomed.
Where are those crazy super villains that plan to destroy the world when you need them?
lol owned, Ya I agree with above, If you cant program it yourself, cant debugg/script/make yourself an emulator then dont complain.
I bet the same people complain about free games, free movies, free apps they get from those uhh sites? :)
Basically if you dont MAKE a better emulator yourself dont say it’s shit. Just needs work thats all.
yeah but you started with strmnnrmn source didn’t you and he has been working on that for almost 2 years but your right indieguy sucks you guy will get emulators working almost as good as they work for pc one day
You’re sadly mistaken. the N64 emulator was released a long time ago. At least in 07.
you should probably suck all their dicks for making this happen in the first place. fuckin asshole. i hate your kind attitude. they owe you shit.
Well i just tried it and it’s improved a bit…
:/
Dose anyone here agree now im just guessing but asysnchronus will work better because it working together then superatly right
Well, yes it does work better, because the audio isn’t always buffering itself to be in sync with the game, it just plays. Which means it leaves a little more processing power to the graphics.
Common people, it’s labeled as ‘BETA’ for a reason. It’s released just to calm down(or should say shut up) those people who always moaning for progressions.
Some of you who doesn’t appreciate other people’s work are soo pathetic. Go do it if u think u can do better! If no, show some respect pls!
haha bastards. its an incredible piece of programming. give em credit. just not too useful for our enjoyment yet. usually the hardware should be at least 4 times more powerful than the system to be emulated. dreamcast had trouble emulating snes even. its likely this will never get close to 100%. but dont discourage them to try.
SNES is more complex than the Nintendo 64. (Lots of different things which are hard to emulate).
The thing about the PSP and the N64, they are so close to being identical, in the processor and all other bits and pieces. WE can emulate a lot of stuff in the PSP Hardware. Howard is working hard on this! Psmonkey also said the N64 only used 1/3 64 bit instructions.
Do some spec comparisons and you’ll be suprised :)
See I said psp is like n64…
Very very similar hardware but psp is much advanced and faster.
N64 is ~95mhz but the psp is 333mhz.
Why wally why it still lag??? Why?!!??
EMULATION it means they have to write in code how to translate the assembly from one CPU to another and special instructions. You use most of the PSPs CPU to fake another. It uses alot of CPU power just to emulate another CPU and then getting it to run games at the same time. Your writing code that mimics hardware so you have this virtual N64 all in code that has to run plus you have to run the game.
I understand it is a beta and it was not going to be perfect but there seems to be some obvious bugs with everything except mario64. Certain roms freeze my slim, changing the sound mid game freezes, exiting through the home button occasionally freezes.
A good job but still a long way to go.
great work it works well (using mario 64 so far) and on fat :)
Didnt the N64 have like 9 buttons ?? (B,A,4 cam buttons, L,R, Z).psp has 6.
the n64 had 13 buttons (excluding start). PSP has 10 buttos (excluding fucntion buttons) it is possible to switch from N64 D-pad to C-pad in the emulqator via the O button, and the respective buttons are mapped on the PSP D-pad
Post this message on a teaser video if you ever get OoT running smoothly with sound. I bet it’ll either never happen or it’ll be false advertising.
Nice attempt, but my real N64 obviously runs better. I can do without portability.
The problem with this emulator is that you guys advertised it as being a huge improvement, a leap and what we have here is still unplayable with sound! Why on earth would anyone want to play without sound when the music is such a huge part of games?
Some games do run better with no sound and frameskip, but that’s still unplayable! I was really excited for this release but I’m sorely disappointed with the results. Still, I appreciate the efforts on your part, my expectations were just higher.
My question is, will this emulator ever achieve decent speed with sound on? (and not choppy, crappy sound) Is there hope for that? Because I’d really love this emulator if it ran fast with quality audio. Is your M.E (rev 3.00) going to address the audio along with providing a decent speed improvement?
You said the N64 is easier to emulate than the SNES on a psp, but then howcome the SNES emulator runs fine and this N64 emulator is such a massive undertaking to get working?
No disrespect, I appreciate the work guys, I’m just a little sore because I was hoping for more. Hopefully in the future!
Yeah its understandable, sound to me is the most important thing of emulation!. Still there’s a lot of changes under the hood, and not all changes affect every ROM.
This is where it gets complicated. Every ROM accesses something different, calls a different CPU instruction, calls a different OPCode. Its not likely that every ROM will do all this the same, as for SNES some games came shipped with separate processors inside them. All those things have to be coded into the emulator for the feature to work. Zelda requires extensive debugging to work at full capacity, but like most games it at or over 60% of the games speed. (Mario runs at 80% or higher and Forsaken runs over 100% most of the time)
But anyway, Beta 3 will be more to look forward to. I myself am disappointed in the quality of Beta 2 and should have been released when things were stable but we move on now to focus on Beta 3. Here’s hoping after some extensive testing, it’ll be the best Daedalus release in ages! (Yes I’ll release a PROPER readme file for it this time)
you’re disappointed? that’s A nice way of saying it sucks. come on don’t bash me for saying the emulator sucks. the emulator hasn’t improved much at all since the the first release. unplayable games that is all. Well the emulator has never been stable; so you guys shouldn’t have released it all all yet and get everyone’s hopes up. you should’ve kept hyping the progress of the emulator and never released it.
If I recall correctly, didn’t PJ64 & 1964 have massive bugs for nearly every game for a very long time? We finally got something decent for PC within the last 3 years. That being said if you want full speed use one of those two. This emulator will get better, and eventually some of you guys, as Wally said, are going to end up bashed in the teaser video when it’s all fixed. That being said, I’m going to give this a shot. Thanks, and don’t listen to those guys! :D
Man i have too say its looking good i’m playing mario party 3 right now and i’m loving it Good work guy ty all that worked on the 64 Emu for the psp =D
I have a suggestion how about they find a way to convert the rom’s into something that an emulator can play? sort of like what Sony did but do it to the n64 rom’s into a certain type of file and make a emulator that will run it smoothly wouldn’t that work better?
The EBOOT for the ps1 games was to keep people from taking their own games and making ISO’s to play them/playing bought ps1 games from PSN on their chipped ps1. I mean, they added a couple of things, such as ability for instruction manuals, etc, but that was the big reason for it. To do that to the ROM’s would take unnecessary processor power to convert and/or decrypt them. To keep them in z64, n64, rom, etc. would be best.
but what I am saying is the old psx emulator for the psp from the homebrew comunity was playing the games slow and chippy sound but what the eboot also did is it speaded up how the ftps in the game went and everything so that it also goes faster instead of slowing down…
I never used the old homebrew ps1 emu. I didn’t know that lol. Then maybe it’ll work. But wouldn’t that have to make the emulator a prx instead?
I guess ur right but that would be great idea tho dont u think less hassle dont u think?
Only issue I have with that is that now it shows as one game on my PSP that you open to multiple games, whereas converting the ROM to an eboot would have you looking at hundreds of games on the main Memory Stick. Personally, I prefer the first option.
Great Job! his is impressive goldeneye actually plays and so does Doom 64 you guys have came a long way and it will be interesting to see what else you do in the future. This is definetly the begining of a fully working n64 emulator.
Congrats on your work guys!
I didn’t realize that there were this many people that hate over this, i for one think that this is great, and i give my thanx!
woo!!! mario kart 64 will finally be fun good sh*t all you developers!! can’t wait til u guys finish
i have tried the beta and i think it’s an massive improvment over the old version as i can usually play OOT at 10 – 20 fps with the sound disabled it is quite a achiement and i give my congrats to the people involed in breathing life and improving this emulator :)
good luck with this and am looking forward to the next release!
It’s unbelievable how many ungrateful users we have on here. Wow. I still can’t emulate 64 this fast on my computer. And all you guys are expecting everything to run full-speed, clear sound. Seriously! These are just generous programmers. If I made this app & read some of these comments, I’d freain’ keep it to myself (& friends), goddamn.
This is a huge step from last time, & it’s still in Beta! My best wishes to everyone that’s working on this, I’m still content with playing Mario 64 w/o sound. :)
How old is your pc? I’ve got a 1.6Ghz Pentium 512 Mb ram (8 shared for on-board graphics, and I run everything at nearly full speed (minus a couple of games). Do you use something older than Pj64 1.6 or 1964 0.9.9.
u guys are gay. who the hell takes “noob” offensively lol. might as will call you “bag” or “poon”. fuck all this. thats why i sold my psp lol.
Only one word to say..Awsome!!
Keep up the good work.
/love
nice work. one my fav games ever mario 64 works beter on my psp. But il probly still stick to computer emultors when I have thw chance.
I just want No Mercy and Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 to work Wally if you read this and can tell me what aspects you guys may be stuck with I may be able to help I know assembly language and C++ and have the psptool chain installed still I think. Tho most of my experience is with programming microcontrollers for medical equipment and to do data collecting.
We are actually working on something ATM that might get these games working.
You’re not the only one that wants them to work :P
We are actually working on something ATM that might get these games working.
You’re not the only one that wants them to work :P
YAY!!
how do u set up this program onto the psp…….i mean dedalus
read the instructions.txt. don’t waste your time though. you aren’t able to play any games.
LAWL! I love reading the flamer’s comments on this stuff! Nothing makes me smile more than coming home from a hard days work to see a bunch of 12 year olds curse on the Internet while their mom and dad work hard to keep the facade of your “perfect” lifestyle in tact. When, all the while, you had to go ask your friend’s older brother to hack your PSP in the first place.
Great work, Daedalus guys! Can’t wait until we get an official release!
the official release will be the same as all the other releases. non-playable games. geez people on here really don’t like me bashing this emulator. but on the inside you completely agree with me. you wish that the emulator didn’t suck. prove me wrong wally please. i would really appreciate it.
You don’t know programming and everything you say is completely stupid BETA BETA BETA DDUUHHHHH!!!!! It plays most games ppl want to and with time it will be perfect once again its BETA!!!!!! You think it’s so easy to program then you do it and shut up.
I can’t wait until this can play most games, keep it going guys! :D
yeah in 2012.
Games i’ve tried so far that run pretty good with no sound.
Bust-A-Move ‘99
Bust-A-Move 2
Duke Nukem 64
Mario Kart 64
Mario Party 3
Monster Truck Madness 64
Rampage
Rampage 2
Super Mario 64
Did you get Mario party 3 to work without the game board backgrounds all out of order? I tried all three and they play good just there are some graphical issues.
Great work you guys, I hope the idiots that come on here and bash your work dont ever get you down in the slightest. The people like “indieguy” need to take their PSP and shove it up their ass so the crap that comes out of it doesnt spill onto the internet. They think its sooooo easy to just make things work perfectly and that it must work perfectly and on every game they want to play. Then theres “wow losers”, if you sold your PSP why are you on a PSP website being a dumbass? LOL at you for selling it, my PSP fucking ROCKS and it just got better with this emulator. Thanks for your efforts and cant wait to see how this comes around in time.
Wow! who brags about their psp. what a loser. Your psp is no better than anyone else’s so STFU.
lulz, indieguy obvious troll for great justice!
Very pleased w/ this new version. ALL i ever wish to accomplish(or should say, be able to play) is the TUROK games. OMG. Before I couldnt even boot up any turok game, now w/ this beta version, I’m able to boot up TUROK 1 w/ sound!!!! I was able to shank the first baddie and collect a few “rupees”……hehe forgot its name.
keep it up wally and gang.
p.s. WHERE are screenshots stored? I took a snapshot of the turok title screen but when and look for it on my memory stick and I cant find it…..I want to save it as my psp’s wallpaper.
Thanks for the update guys, keep working hard!
Indieguy: Why are you wasting your time on the internet flaming something you hate? Don’t you have something better to do? I’m sure you could be using your time more productively. Why don’t you go outside, read a book, meet a girl (or guy if you’re a girl or gay, I’m not name calling.) And if you do have someone you like/love, give them more attention :)
-Zylo
You can take your advice and shove it Zylo. Why don’t you stop making assumptions that I’m gay or a girl.IndieGUY fag. Don’t you have any thing better to do than to lecture me? Aren’t you too old to be playing video games? Go back to your shitty job and make some money.
LOL indieguy at least some of us have jobs and money why don’t you sell your psp and leave us alone for awhile.
Emulator is awesome I can actually play OOT now it’s awesome! Keep it up
i have plenty of money. you noob. how old are you?
HaHaHa lovin this thread keep up the good work programmers, flamers and fanboys :]
Man…It’s good but I a bit disapointed and now when you maked Daedalus Beta 2 make a emulator of Nintendo DS, and make that all game’s can work. Any way thanks.
And how would you do the games that need a touch screen????? It’s easy to emulate DS.
I’ve been in the psp scene since the beginning, and I am happy to see the developers all coming together on this project. A year ago many people were assuming the n64 emu was dead, and now you have 6 talented developers working together(fucking awesome btw). To see this emulator go from nothing to something , is awesome. Keep it up guys , many of us appreciate the work and time you are putting into this. Keep moving forward and I wish you all the best! :) P.S. Indieguy your a fucking joke, fuck off! Take your second grade intellect elsewhere.
None of the games that I’ve wanted to play in the beginning play now. You fuck off faggot.
hmmm… ok… so i’m left wondering: what games do you like playing on your psp…?? since this emulator is not working good enough for you??? what does indieguy like to play on a psp system??? is there a game out there that makes you use your console without screaming and kicking for better stuff like a spoiled little brat…???
i mean like i don’t know… maybe gran turismo 2 or final fantasy 7 or even make crappy beats that sound like kangaroo rides with pspkicks for psp…
what tikles your funny bone on this portable gaming system that makes you come to this site and cry about something that does not work instead of complaining about something that ruins other player’s gaming experience like that socom fire team bravo 2 trainer like plugin that alows you to see through walls…?? that would be more constructive at least! LOL i hate this plugin but i only wrote ONE comment…
do something positive right now and tell us what do you like to play on a psp!!!
and maybe we’ll understand you a little bit
for my part, good job on the beta can’t wait to play golden eye the same way i’m playing mario now!!!
sorry for my grammar and lol!!!!!1! i managed to line up three lines that start with the word ”that” funny… :)
i play plenty of games on my psp. nes emulator is perfect. psone games castlevania, resident evil, medal gear solid, crash bandicoot,1+2. I perfect sega genesis emulator. why do i need to play Mario 64 i have an R4 for my DS which I put over 50 DS games on it. why would i mention anything about socom?! this a N64 forum noob. don’t act like the emulator is the best thing on the psp. it’s not even the best thing the psp has i just have a complaint. i like games that have sound and runs at a good frame rate. and the n64 emulator doesn’t have that. so there.
I laugh at how pathetic indieguy is. Smash Bros is working just fine without sound, so is Mario 64. I’d try some more games, but I’m too lazy, and can just play the games I -really- want (that don’t work) on an actual N64.
Epic work. First play with the N64 emu, it looks promising.
Dank. Every update a step closer to a better emulator. Keep up the good work, guys.
A little late, but good work guys all around. The games that do run are exceptionally smooth. Only thing I noticed is that some games that ran (not particularly well, I might add) don’t launch anymore. :-( I can’t wait until we get this emulator up to full steam. Thanks Daedalus X64 team!
can some one help me im new to this kind of stuff and i want to know how to put the emulator onto my psp like show me the steps for it
cheers
I agree that this emulator needs more attention but I was wondering what you do on your psp and why you were whining on this, since this forum is constructive. I was refering to the socom part because I think that complaning about something that is slowly getting there is kinda dumb (especially that much) as where the socom trainer app is ruining people’s gameplay when you meet someone that shoots you through walls… that is a legitimate thing to whine about… I mean, i bought a game that works fine, and all I get is cheaters that kill me before i appear and sticky grenades…
so thanks for telling all of us that there is something else you do with your psp than trying to play a game that does not work well but please agree with me that you are a bit over reacting…
think, but think positive (noob yourself by the way…LOL)
oups that was a reply to indie guy…
Then don’t play Socom.
Last time,I checked in the dictionary, STFU wasn’t a word. Also when speaking about other peoples GRAMMAR, make sure you capitalize the first word of all your sentences. Dad should be also capitalized since your speaking about YOUR Dad. Making it possessive.
Alright I’m not writing an essay so I don’t have to capitalize the first word of every sentence. and before you try and correct me; how about you check your punctuation. you have two comma’s in the first sentence that don’t have to be there. your first sentence is one complete thought. also you used ‘your’ incorrectly it’s ‘you’re’ as in you are.
I think everyone would be happier if you kept your opinion to yourself.
Just thought I’d point out to indieguy that you may want to check your own grammar and punctuation before critiquing everyone else’s. It’s rather atrocious
ok guys first off Congrats on a perfect n64 emu. I’ve been around ALONG time since the GTA exploit(memories) anywho from what started a long time ago all of you have done and excellent job on this and unlike other people i have no problems with it if i knew how to donate money to u guys i would
keep up the good work
this is good news. Still hearing that this project is still on going.

hey.
can anyone help me whit this emulator ?
i cant find any n64 games, were do i get them ?
plz can someone tell me ?
the only thing that made me keep my psp was this emulator. i waited 3 years for it to get somewhere. and its not any better than daedalus r9 was.
im glad i got rid of it once and for all.
i got an ipod touch and its way better
Good for you, may I also ask why your still hanging around here then?
