PSPBTCNF Tool v3 Released

greg | February 21, 2009

Anyone looking to control which modules are loaded and when, or anyone wanting to load their plug-ins directly from flash0 under these select modes — VSH (XMB), Game / Homebrew, Firmware Update, POPs (PSOne emulation), Application, and Licensed Application — then this app is for you… Seungju Kim, aka mamanatails007, has released PSPBTCNF Tool v3: it backs up, restores, extracts, builds, and flashes PSPBTCNF bin files. Usage is straightforward once you download PSPBTCNF Tool and try it out.

I don’t exactly get how to use this program it’s confusing

(at least when i was using v2 earlier it was i doubt v3 is any less confusing… i get alot of it but i just want to be sure how to use it, don’t want bricks)

Because anyone with a functioning brain cell doesn’t give a shit that someone posted first. Make your comment worth reading if you’re going to bother posting at all.

as to the program, quite nice

Ok, I’m a little slow today, so bare with me. Does this app allow you to add homebrew-ish plugins into your flash0? I think this is what is does, but I’m dragging ass right now, so forgive me.

Also, come on guys, this first post thing is getting pretty gay. Seriously. It doesn’t even require an explanation.

Anyone else thinking what I am? Finally a way to load custom themes without having to put the damn cxmb plugin on every memory stick you got :P if indeed this can make that possible (I don’t know about memory constraints, and on the other hand, you don’t have enough flash space for all your themese, making it so you still have to put at least the themes on every stick, unless you mostly stick to just one)

if it screws up load the recovery menu and turn the USB on. Then load up the MS from the PC and change the folder Plugin2Flash into RECOVERY. Then select the option in the psp menu to load from ms0:/PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP then press triangle and unload the prx that caused it to brick. :)
