Unofficial PicoDrive 1.35b R (Rewind Mod) Released

greg | January 22, 2009

Rewind back in time to NOTAZ’ PicoDrive v1.35b… Now fast forward to DAVEX’s popular “Rewind” mod, which has already been adapted to several emulators, and we’re left with the Unofficial PicoDrive v1.35b R.

PicoDrive mimics the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive and Sega CD consoles.

Sega Genesis / Mega Drive

Unofficial PicoDrive v1.35b R changes:

  1. Now you can remap the rewind key (default RTRIGGER).
  2. Allows you configure rewind parameters in the new “Rewind” menu, in order to have more rewind time or more smooth rewind.

Boring ass games? Hah! Maybe if you weren’t born long after these systems were obsolete you’d appreciate the craftsmanship that went into these classics.

m33-x? Works just fine on 5.00 m33-6.

O.o? How is this garbage? I still like DGEN for its GameGenie Support and button remapping.

Square Triangle Circle
A/B/C
as well as X as B also.

I keep hitting Triangle on accident. BTW what is the deal with making Select, Or L/R keys Open Menu. Home is the 100% Ideal Button. It works amazingly for CPS1+2, and SNESTYL…. You are just shorting yourself one button. Set Select to do what Triangle does, and free controlls for 6-button mode or reconfigurations.

i prefer the earlier versions without rewind though (emulation runs smoother on that)

a manual savestate will do the trick allways. but love to hear that the emulator develops are still hot :)
