Ok, so again… No release. Not yet anyway… The Google (French to English) translation reads something close to this –
This version of HEN-A (Homebrew Enabler) enables user and kernel mode homebrew, including those that emulate the UMD, better known as ISO loaders. Installing and using a custom firmware isn’t going to happen yet — you know, because of the pre-IPL business… And sadly, for the moment, the pspgen team isn’t going to release their work in hopes to prevent Sony from patching the exploit so quickly. With that said, the development team is looking for more loopholes before it’s made public.
Whether it’s pspgen or someone else, we’ll likely have something usable real soon. So find yourself a copy of the GripShift UMD and do not update should Sony spring a new firmware version upon us.

Awesome, I should consider getting a 3000. BTW, I’m really annoyed with him saying “Uh..” along with croaking his voice when he does it X_X UGH So annoying!!!
even if CFW cant be installed, they could create some kind of DEVHook, no?
It would be enough until they find how to bypass the IPL thing (which may take a while)
He talks to much in the begining, so whats the use of opening the recovery menu in it if you cant do much with it without cfw.
HEN or the Homebrew Enabler is enough to run homebrew apps and certain ISO, just like devhook and just like the old days. No need to to wait for CFW if it isn’t available yet. But that would be awesome and easy for our lives once cfw would be introduced for the PSP-3000, they just need to bypass the IPL.
whats a IPL and how will they and when will it be done? and dose any other game becides gripshift work?
Gripshift is the only one with the exploit, but once you have HEN running, I imagine you could play any ISO.
yeah but GripShift is the catalyst…you cant do shit without the catalyst.

i can’t understand how does it happen. by just inserting the UMD… he managed to make the FW to a 5.02 Hen-a….
but still hahaha!!! =) it works fine!!! hope this is a 1 very big step for them to come much more closer on hacking a 3000 very soon….

PS3 has already been hacked. People are using it to create cheap super computers running custom linux programs.
the ps3 has not been hacked(ive been waiting) you can install other operating systems on the ps3 its an option! and cheap super computers lol okay but it doesnt use any of the ps3 cell so its a pretty shitty super computer if thats what you mean
I dunno, but couldnt you just use this in filer to (with a CFW psp) copy an image of your flash onto your memstick and then transfer it to the flash of the 3000?

Those asking if it works for the TA-088v3 (locked down mobo on the PSP-2000’s) – it should, because this exploit supposedly works on any official or custom firmware version running.
If you want to find out for yourself, just load the Sparta / Gripshift Hello World proof on concept onto your PSP and run it.
so just making sure. the 3k is not hacked with m33 and stuff like that yet right. so does this just get you homebrew?
