Unofficial CXMB Released for 5.02 GEN-A

By now you’re feeling good and no doubt digging custom firmware 5.02 GEN-A. Although, perhaps you were a little saddened when you learned CXMB was no longer functional… But that’s all changed; Miriam has released an unofficial version of Poison’s CXMB that is now fully compatible with CFW 5.02 GEN-A. So boogie on down and enjoy countless user contributed XMB themes all over again. You can find a bunch here.

thats the circacor theme.i think that theme should be some where on the forums on this site.

works nicely for me, i think all the old 5.00 themes need to be converted first though
Anyone else have a problem with skype with the psp themes? I always get this error: “An error occurred in playing the voicemail.” Also, after exiting skype, it freezes.
will ps1 game works on this version?
This still needs to be fixed because although some themes work some dont even after being converted.
Anyway its an improvement.

how can i convert some old or 5.00m33 CTF files?
the 5.02 GEN-A includes this on its readme.txt file
“CTF_Updater notes:
- This program lets you convert 5.00 M33 Themes to 5.02 GEN Themes.
- Usage: in a ms-dos prompt, the same file input is converted in output
- Use with CXMB in this package”
how can i convert CTF to be compatiple to 5.02 GEN-A?

Hopefully the CTF_Updater comes out soon so we can use this unnoficial cxmb though.. not sure the differences between the 2 prxs
I downloaded this cxmb.prx but it isn’t working. I put it in the CXMB folder & replaced the cxmb.prx that came w/ this one, then went through all the steps to dump and rtu installation….it didn’t work. I put it in the seplugins folder & changed the vsh.txt to reflect it being there….it didn’t work. Where do you put this & what should the vsh.txt read to get this cxmb to work properly. Thanks in advance for your help!
Dont do anything with this new pack.. just place the prx i linked over your old one and your good to go..

when you download the rtucxmbpspgen part after the psardumper does it show you that its downloading it? because i pressed it and it just takes me back to the psp menu.
it’ll just stay on thesame window but the light above the wifi light will blink… indicating that it is reding the program….

but….
when i updated from 401 m33 to gen all the previous themes worked normally and perfectly.i am using them since 3.XX m33 (fat psp)and never had a problem.
so this CXMB is…..?

nice this one just messed up all the ones i had before…
that seems to be nice but how can i download it??i can download it but everytime i put it in my psp it doesn’t work…what will i do???? help me plssssss……:)
