Anyone else having problems?
Seems I may have corrupt my 8gig memory card. It will not open VSH menu. But when I use 1gig memory stick it works.
Then I can swap back in 8gig to also work.

Any ideas? I’ve already downgraded my PSP back in forth about 4 times already trying to figure out what I messed up.

Also formated 8giger. Going to try now Formating via computer, then formatting via PSP.

Thought at first it was just the GEN-A
But I was also using M33-4 with same prob…

In short, it’s used so that you are able to run older homebrew. Enabling you to run old and new homebrew.

The answer to your second question, It’s not that the slim doesn’t need it, it’s that the slim isn’t capable of running the 1.50 kernel.
