BakonICE v1.5 Released
greg | December 6, 2008
NoEffex with one more for the count… Further improving his Socom Fireteam Bravo 2 cheat device we’re now graced with the presence of BakonICE v1.5. And thanks to Slant Six, legitimate online play is possible again. Get down.
BakonICE v1.5 changes:
- Slant Six added a new anti-cheat system. With this said, hotkeys will screw you over online. If you go online, use it, so you will get hit just like all the other online cheaters. Anyhow, I would like to thank them (Slant Six) very much for FINALLY making legitimate online play possible again.
- Added ability to save your current cheats via Select+VolDown while in the menu.
- Ability to suspend the animation thread, as requested.
- Loading of modules from a .txt (ms0:/seplugins/bakonmods.txt), just like M33’s game.txt, except they’re always loaded, the reason for this is that there are a ton of various modules for this game that do things I refuse to do, and freeze up during the main module loading that M33 does.
- Some fixups here and there.
- Crawl in water disabled, FINALLY. Keep forgetting about it…

woo first comment!
Yay! Glad to see the online disabled.
But the cheaters can still just download an older version.
Slant Six added a new anti-cheat system….
not NOFX
*sigh* still a lame hack, why dont you try doing that stuff for more better games.
Socom is a perfect game pretty much. It is the single most played game, there are still thousands on the servers in a day. Unless of course you can name a better game that I have a UMD for(I refuse to download games).
Hack something that is worth while, all this stuff is old and those “thousands” you see are spread throughout 4 games, not just ftb2.
If you are so “1337″ move onto something worth hacking like an mmo or a decent fps
will this disable nitepr cheats as well?
Those thousands are distributed on the FTB2 servers. Ex. US East, US East 1, US East 2, etc, not the main server. And there ARE thousands on this one game a day. Maybe not at one time, but throughout the day.
Well…
Number 1: you refuse to download games, but you hack them for people who download them.
Number 2: Not everyone buys or will buy the umd for this game coz its lame, story play is alright but the hacking online that you created, i think its alot worse and makes it more unfair to others who do buy the umd and dont cheat… dont ya think?
You guys are the most whiny bunch of cunts in the world. Congrats.
Thanks for the update NoEffex.
Sometimes I’m ashamed I’m from the same race as these unappreciative morons, ie Alex and fail.
I didn’t unleash ANYTHING. As a matter of fact, since this has been out, it’s gotten significantly better. This trend of cheating online has been around for years now, while this device has been since Juneish, and since then the cheating has gone down a bunch. I personally haven’t been booted nor cheated against in a while now, where as if I were to try the same thing a few months ago, finding a legitimate game would be like finding the hay in the needlestack.
Use a magnet :)
A magnet would not work to find the hay in the needlestack because the….. nevermind
