PSPUAE 0.72 FAME/C Edition Released

FOL from the PSPUAE (Ubiquitous Amiga Emulator) Team has made mention of Ric’s latest work… Ported fresh is the FAME/C CPU core from UAE4ALL. While this FAME/C version is indeed faster, it’s slightly unstable and undesired behaviour may occur. As well, you should know old savestates are not compatible. Nonetheless, kickstart that rom and enjoy countless Amiga classics at their finest.
PSPUAE 0.72 FE changes:
- Added FAME/C CPU core (Credits to UAE4ALL team as that’s where Ric ported it from originally).

Also, this isnt Rics latest work. It was rics last work before leaving over 1 year ago. I just incorporated it into the current 0.72 release.
why wud anybody emulate comp on der psp if its a pc emu?
Hurrray, new PSP Amiga emulator. Yay!!! I guess this just made my day, if not a whole week. Economy is in the toilet, nobody is making any money anywhere, but I’m so happy. My Amiga, so many memories from the times of my youth, ton of games I’m playing on my PSP already, some of them actually run pretty smooth, but there is a few with graphic lagging or bunch of other problems. Some my favorite pieces (SuperFrog, Disposable Heroes, Megalomania) are running on playable FPS rates only with sound turned off. So I’m looking forward to test this new release and want to thank you for sharing it with us. THANK YOU.

Hmmm, you obviously didnt read my reply. Why did you mention PC? its nothing to do with PC.

Slow progress on this emulator, Maybe PSP is too slow to emulate an amiga, who knows. I remember even on PC u needed a good CPU to have decent emulation.
I disagree, people keep saying its slow. This is simply a lie. checkout youtube.
If people are unwilling to alter any options, then all I can say is “Good day”.
Plus myself and horace have gone through a great deal of work to provide savestates to over come that very problem. The states are setup to optimum performance.

I know you must have spend a great deal of time to make it the speed it has today, it took maybe 10 years for the PC to get the speed of a Amiga 500 (the “simplest” machine of the all from C=).
What I heard must the GFX-chip pump nearly 2GB/sec to emulate some copper effects.
