Updates on the Lite Blue Battery & TA-088v3

So as suspected, that blue Datel battery, it’s a total sham… Well, sort of… When put into service mode on the PSP-3000 it’ll result in nothing but a flashing light and black screen; at least for those sporting a TA-088v3 motherboard. Someone still needs to bypass or hack the pre-IPL hash process. Over at sceners is an update confirming the battery’s falsifications, as well some clarification on hacking the 88v3 IPL –
…it’s confirmed that this over exalted battery will leave 3k at least like the 88v3, just with a flashing light, a black screen and nothing but that LED indicator, as we announced.

Now onto the 88v3 IPL. You might remember this post from where part of the signing (there were 2 functions missing) was hacked from Brokencodes; so being as partial as it is, it would be interesting now to say, after reading about it on all the PSP-related webpages, that is NOT conclusive or definitely, so please, be aware that a “hack” for this couple of mobos might need further and longer study.
Now, I shouldn’t say it’s a total fake… The battery functions as described on other hackable PSP models, i.e.) the PSP-2000.

Does the battery still work as a normal battery, or does it just make the lights flash and black screen?
it should still function as a normal battery; Datel is just misleading with the battery’s description. I’d imagine service mode still works on other hackable PSP’s too.

…what your saying is that rhe lite battery is completely fake? Will anyone be able to hack the new motherboard since i just got a new PSP 2000 slim with the TA-088v3 motherboard. if anyone specifically the creater of this new update could reply.. it would be greatly appreciated
Who is Datel? I thought DarkAlex was the MasterHaxer. and what do you mean the battery is “fake”? Does that mean it is just a battery and can’t be made into a pandora battery???

As much as i like the idea of hacking the psp 3000 i rather they not hack for a while, ever since it came out they have begun releasing new games for the psp and as soon they hack it they wont be relaesing as many…
Im surprised you guys wouldn’t catch on that Datel never boasted that they cracked the ipl. You all just assumed that because they released the battery, which only makes up for 10% of the service mode process, that it would work fine… duh
So it’s able to put the system into service mode, but that’s it? Isn’t that what people have been saying all along that it would do? I thought I’d heard that ordinary Pandora batteries couldn’t do even that on the new boards, and that it was well-known that this hack was only half the job done.

The battery is not fake! It does its job and puts the PSP 3000 into service mode. Like any other Pandora’s battery that’s all it’s meant to do, it is your job to format the memorystick with the proper files(which don’t exist YET). It’s not Datel’s fault the new IPL has not been hacked yet. And for all of you asking about the TA-088v3 motherboard, not yet as the IPL has not been COMPLETELY hacked yet.
Y would anyone buy this crap datel has made nothing but crap for the psp, heres a list
1.the big and crappy 4gb hard drive, yeah it so compares to the big 16 gig pro duo
2. the big dumb looking battery that couldn’t stand to last 3 months
hold on DAX, noobz, and fanjita release the pandora battery for FREE. it turns your battery into service mode and back to regular, and it has the IPL in one .rar file. it even brought 3 of my dead batteries back to life.
3. datel steals DAXs pandora battery to market for thier greedy selves.

well, i just bought a psp 2000 few days a ago and i tryed to make a pandora batery out of it…i opened it up and took the last 4th pin out on the right side… poped it in dident work..so i looked to research into it more, so i found out that you can take the wire out right by the #19 is located…poped it in still nothing… im not too sure that the mobo is a ta088v3… how do i check to see if it is? thanks… i heard that alex partially hacked the mobo…is this true?
Why hack psp3000 when we have hacked psp2000? Whatever future features of psp3000 can still be emulated on psp2000 :)
If your not familiar with making Pandora Battery then don’t try it without an expert beside you. You’ll end up destroying your battery.
As for Datel, its purely marketing. Only DAX can hack the PSP3000 and TA-88V3 Slim.
