TA-088v3 Signing Hacked!

Remember when Dark_AleX explained why a PSP equipped with the TA-088v3 motherboard couldn’t be hacked? Well, good news — apparently a hacker by the name of Brokencodes has indeed broken the code.
Released yesterday was a bit of somethin’ somethin’ that should generate the signature to resign the IPL and ultimately pass the pre-IPL hash process. In other terms: sit tight, soon you’ll be enjoying custom firmwares, 3rd party plug-ins, and homebrew galore.

That was nearly 2 months ago, and a lot of stuff can happen in 2 months. http://www.psp-hacks.com/2008/10/06/why-psp-motherboard-ta88v3-cannot-be-hacked-yet/ that describes why it was not possible at the time. But, there are some amazing people in the world, and as luck would have it, those amazing (and smart) people love to mess with Sony!

2. The link in the article is referring to DAX explaining why the ta-088v3 couldn’t CURRENTLY be hacked. This is part of the missing pieces necessary to hack the ta-088v3.

u think anything hackable try the ps3 or a lite on 360 dvd drive lol anything is a blanket word but everything is not hackable most things are unless you mean hackable with a knife in which case you can hack at anything

2. the lite on drives are rom not ram, but you can extract the key and put it intoo a flashable drive.
They havent said anything about hacking the ps3 and theyre probably not going to becuase you can install linux on it and do pretty much anything and they wont hack it becuase they know ppl will use it for piracy reasons and thats why there not going to hack it

2.is the hack came sooner then we have to wait to make it more stable and without glicthes because some on newly release wont be perfect
3.we have to pray that te new games will not have a security to not copy them and do it an iso or cso
4.sony will panic if this 3000 get hacked

Make (every) PSP hackable is Sony’s plan from the getgo, who ever is not seeing that as a fact must be blinded by the thousands suns. All this security crap is just simply made to be broken, for Sony it’s just a cover-up against law suits from all of the place if they just let it go unpatched. But they do not making any REAL progress in that field, always only minor changes on existing structures so scene can keep up and sales of the new PSP units doesnt’ drop. They need PSP hacked to keep it’s position. Games are all blemish already anyway, so I say let them have what they want and hack it to the Oblivion.
I hate it when people pretend to understand or even know Sony’s business plan. Despite the fact that the PSP hacking community (and by community, I’m including those who simply use the hacks) is quite large, the large majority of PSP users have no idea what custom firmware even is and continue to buy games. Piracy DOES cost them some money but the PSP-3000 being hacked isn’t going to make or break the system. In fact, I’m sure they’ve got enough sense to have expected it to eventually get hacked.

First of all Sony Corporation should worship the ground Hackers walk on!, with out Hackers making their products better they would’nt have the boom’s in sales that they get when the Hacking community makes their stuff better. For the record, companies make very little, if any, profit on their systems. Most of their profits come from the games themselves. Hacking doesn’t help Sony’s sales.

ok so the ipl or pre ipl has been hacked but do the psp 3000’s have the ability to take pandora batteries or are we going to have to wait for a vulnerability in a game ( like the old gta game save way of hacking ) , i only ask cos i think someone told me once that the 3000’s arent able to create pandora batteries, but of course because you cant run cfw on them , or is this known as a hardware fact ( as in , it cant possibly create one as it dosent have such n such a connector going to the battery )

i just got a psp2006. the software is 4.01. the seller claims that it is being hack. when i try loading iso games in it, it can’t work. but when he places his mem stick in the machine it works. but it is not iso files and also the files can’t be view when plug into a card reader.
so is it true that it is hack?
