Update: Experiencing connectivity problems, confused with O vs. X? Update to PMP VLC Player v1.1:
- Changed Select/Enter Button to CROSS to reduce confusion.
- Removed the background cube animation.
- Fixed the bug which occurs in NetDialog when you select your AP.

so what dose this actually do, dose it stream video from your pc to your psp? if you had a bad old wireless router (not like mine) wouldnt it run slow? and do u need ur pc on to watch it?

Aww it still freezes when connecting to the network. Guess I’ll wait until they get that fixed.
When you get to the screen to the Network Selection screen click the triangle button (options) and choose Connect. This worked for me.
no its not that ur not supposed u use X when you use X for selecting a network it freezes so the real selecting botton is O

Does anyone know if this is actually better than cool eye’s PMP Advance player released in Oct for 5.00 M33??? I am surprised that no one here seems to use it.. that player has come a long way

I don’t use the PMP format simply because it takes 2-3 times longer to convert. Most videos I have are from youtube and are crappy quality anyways so it doesn’t really matter whatsoever
i tired to get the previous version of this to work time and time again and i neer did get it to play it would stream on my pc and when it came to loading on my psp it just said buffering video left it for like 30 minutes one time and t just said buffering video maybe i did something wrong so i’ll give this a try wish me luck
i would get it to work, but it would freezer after like watching 20 minutes. is anybody experiencing this?

Keeps freezing..following instructions clearly but i don’t kno -Run VLC Player on PC and if you play network stream(for example: internet tv),
File>Open Network Stream and type your stream address in Customize box and click Stream/Save and Caching option.

i don’t need this shity think’s i just need a player on my psp to play avi or divx files or mpeg files , because i don’t wanna take time for converting files this is the big reason if i wanna play files on my home or wireless connection i play it on my own 22″ lcd :)) not on my psp :)) create a software that help all people have psp !
Hi,i have the same prob then Kraken.Network connection freezes on phat and slim,i think it`s an alpha release much bug`s,same with divx/xvid files no matter how big they are they won`t play but a nice thing is it didn`t freeze up like the old pmp vlc,but gives a message that there is no video file.The only format`s that playing correctly are mp4,and a few mvcd movie`s.I hope this bug`s will be fixed.

for example:
1. if your wifi switch is turned off and hit the R button the program freezes
2. freezing all the time. there is no session without freezing and so on

ive got the same tool 2jears ago when psp 2.72 was introduced and even that tool doesnt lag this much its called: jockywoo2001’s PMP VLC v0.0.9 try this one its the same use but you can download some tutorials more easely and even tune on TVU player and watch completely free tv.
