DJB releases one more for the count — PSP Pandora Deluxe v2.5. With any great custom firmware or captivating homebrew, comes great all-in-one utilities. Like I said before, this app is serious — check the download page to see what’s up.
PSP Pandora Deluxe v2.5 changes:
- Updated 5.00 M33 CFW Installer to M33-3
- Updated POPSLoader with POPS 3.80, 3.90 and 4.01.
- Updated config file creator (vsh.txt etc) for 5.00 M33-2 standards.

No, I’m not touching the flash files. The vsh.txt, game.txt, and pops.txt uses a new style of config now and I upgraded my app accordingly.
can i upgrade from a ofw firmware to cfw without pandora battery using this tool?

No! Its just an easy way to make a MMS.
Just a side note
I just reformatted my MS both with the PSP, and after that with Windows XP.
It seems it is not injecting the IPL on the stick.
I have a Pandora batt and an additional magic MS just to check if the batt still works. But…
The newly formatted stick doesn’t boot up the PSP anymore… any idea’s on what is going wrong?

Don’t worry… it was my own silly mistake…
The policy on my work pc doesn’t allow me access to format my stick…
I shall try tonight at home, and I am pretty sure it will function as it’s supposed to…

Just wondering if this makes the emulators work or helps make the emulators work?
I followed the emulator guide in the Tutorial section and I ended up with some corrupted data and none of them worked. Always got the same error. Oh, in case you wonder, I got SLIM and atm CFW 3.90 M33-3.

You mind telling us how to use that 5.00 M33-3 MMS WITHOUT using this?
It’s obviously possible, but given the way you have it set up it looks like you want us to be dependent on you.

Hi, Im having problems using this? Formatted card, Loaded OFWs, selected pops & all support tools, clicked finish…. “do you wish to proceed?” Yes.
and then…
error message
“ungandled exception has occurred…..”, “An attempt was made to load a program with and incorrect format. (exception from HRESULT: 0×8007000B)”
If I select continue it goes back to program and does nothing, If I choose quit it closes.
Kinds lost!!! could any of these be casuing a problem?
-using vista x64
-only using a 512 card
-psp has 4.01 m33-3 on it made using rain
-I renamed the OFW eboots to 150, 371, 380… etc
Thats all I can think off, please help.

I think its because the version of the unrar.dll I’m using isn’t 64 bit friendly. That’s the only thing I can think of.
Any ideas what we can do to make it work? Can i do something to unrar.dll?
Normally vista isn’t the best to use for things like ‘BOS’ its better if you use windows xp as it works well for me and vista doesn’t.
You could maybe try a 64-bit version of the unrar.dll. For the next version I’ve taken out the RAR option and went back to what I had with 2.3, so it should be more 64-bit friendly next time.

update: looked around a bit more and found a true 64bit dll. renamed, replaced, and everything is OK. if you look here

i have some problems using this… i already have a pandora battery, and ive had the memory stick pandora ready for a long time. i just upgrade as necessary. i finished using this but it wont let me change the button configuration. so now when i try to install 5.00 on my psp using the battery, i CANT because i dont know which button to hold down to get the fw installation menu. can someone help pls?
You have to change the button configuration as the last thing, when everything you want is enabled. BTW, the only way you can install 5.00 M33-3 (which includes the popcorn fix) is via Hellcat’s Recovery Flasher, which you have to access via the ELF Menu.
btw, does this install the popcorn fix too?
holla!!! does anyone know? if im going to use original psp slim battery with 1200 mAh to make pandora,that was made in japan, will it works? and how about if i decide to do that ?, ive read about not to do on original slim psp battery. what were surely happen to the battery? will i able to make it to normal back? please anyone!!!!!! thanks!! regards!!!
