Custom Firmware Extender 3.0 Released

Experience a whole new ball game by extending the functionality of your custom firmware with Cpasjuste’s appropriately titled bundle — Custom Firmware Extender (CFE) version 3.0.
CFE is essentially a collection of sought-after plug-ins intended for use with the PSP Slim. Fat users may take advantage of the VSH plug-in; sadly, game is said not to work.
CFE 3.0 features:
- Change the speed of the PSP CPU/FSB while under the VSH (PSP Menu) or in-game (UMD/ISO/HOMEBREW).
- Change the brightness of the PSP while under the VSH (PSP Menu) or in-game (UMD/ISO/HOMEBREW).
- Take some screenshot while under the VSH (PSP Menu) or in-game (UMD/ISO/HOMEBREW).
- Load some PRX plugins while under the VSH (PSP Menu) or in-game (UMD/ISO/HOMEBREW).
- Start and stop USB under the VSH (PSP Menu) or in-game (UMD/ISO/HOMEBREW).
- Play your UMD/ISO/HOMEBREWS on your PC screen and make some in-game videos with the help of remotejoyLite from Akind, based on Tyranid work.
- Stream ISO/HOMEBREWS via USB. ISO are loaded in “OE” mode, for better compatibility insert an UMD in the PSP drive.
- Reset and Power off the PSP while under the VSH (PSP Menu) or in-game (UMD/ISO/HOMEBREW)
- Listen to mp3, at3, oma, omg and aa3 musics file while under the VSH (PSP Menu) or in-game (UMD/ISO/HOMEBREWS), based on music.prx by joek2100. Note that if you have some subfolders under an album folder, files won’t be found for now.
- Change volume of each channel’s of the psp.
- “Time Machine” feature, you can reboot to any TM compatible firmwares, they are automatically detected by cfe 3.0. Note that you must configure each TM firmware to load CFE under the VSH to be able to easly reboot to your original firmware. There is already a sample configuration under the TM folder in this archive.
- Grab some informations about the PSP memory (Great to know how much space a prx plugin require).
- Enable Usb Mass Storage at startup via cfe.config (not recommanded).
- Set a default CPU/BUS speed at startup via cfe.config.
- Set a default brightness level at startup via cfe.config.

hey, can you please make this compatible with the fat, I really don’t see why you couldn’t, the first time I used it, it worked perfectly, but it stopped working, so that proves its possible…I just really want my music while in game back, but 5.00 won’t run the old CFE
yes, it does. i tried cfe 2.2 on my psp phat with 5.00 M33. it worked great.
i don’t know what the hell people are saying that it doesn’t,….oh well…

bg music is chan5 so if you play your own music mute it
your own music is in chan 3&4 (some played in one some played in the oter)
well i decdied to try it on my phat. it works pretty well whats not supposed to work i dont get it. i finally got a reason to give up irshell and fw 3.90
i guess i should update to 5.00 again, but i sampled it and pikey wont work(chances where it wouldnt) and i just got my keyboard! o well looks like no one is gonna update that keyboard driver, its pretty sick!
well ive played with it a bit more and it isnt stable on phat, idk if its like this on slims, but after a while it starts going crazy and in game music sometimes works but sometimes doesnt
can this for psp slim with 5.00 OFW?
