I’m not entirely sure what’s new in this version of Akind’s RemoteJoyLite; nonetheless, it’s fresh off the press and likely improved. All I can suggest — you download version 0.17b1, give it a shot, and leave your experience via the comments.
Akind’s RemoteJoyLite is based off TyRaNid’s PSP development tool. Enjoy TV out like capabilities using a Windows PC and USB 2.0 port.

What is so different between this and the original remotejoy?
Don’t bring up irshell either because it can run without it
to the developer by any chance can u make it so u can shut off the back light to save power and just keep the video running to the pc i think that would be a worthy update not that this one isnt heh
i bet you didnt use esc button at all!
Press ESC while the remotejoy PC window is open, Click on the PSP tab, youll see 2 check boxes, check the one that says PSP in it, then click the APPLY box at the bottom. Its all in JAP, but you should understand what I said.
Has anyone had luck with this working in game mode? I’ve only been able to view VSH menu and Movies which I believe leaves the PSP in VSH.
Did you create a GAME.TXT with remotejoylite.prx?
Also try disabling VSH>remotejoylite.prx with the GAME>remotejoylite.prx enabled.
I have a GAME.TXT created as well as disabled the VSH one. When I run a UMD game or ISO neither of them spawns the usb type B mode. I tried formatting the memstick to start from scratch and still had no luck. My PSP is a PHAT with 4.01 M33-2 CF. I also tried deleting the config file in the seplugins menu and re-enabling the game plugin. I can’t think of anything else to try.
Sorry for the previous almost duplicate post. Well, I must have been retarded somewhere along the line because I just tried a newly formatted card (again) and threw in the lastest version of this prx in a GAME.TXT. I didn’t bother creating a VSH.txt file and “Untold Legends, Brotherhood of the Blade” UMD worked great. Thanks for the quick feedback though.

how to install? there are only 3 files in remotejoy .rar
Can you play PSX titles on remote joy at all? I really fancy digging out Chrono cross and playing it on a big tv screen. (I don’t have the disc at my house.) Is there any way of doing this? I tried a PSX title with an older version of remotejoy and it doesn’t work.
Also, what is the delay like with the new version?

i have cfw 4.01m33-2 and its a slim
right it works for me fine, but when i try “gta vcs” it gets past the logos etc, then my psp freezes and turns off? why
hey bro this took me a while to figure out. I’m guessing you have a psp slim. Make sure you have the VSH GAME and GAME150 txt bla bla blah. Load up like normal. Go to the settings on the psp and turn off UMD Cashe mode. Then run the UMD. Things should turn out great.
u need to let the game load first if it does that try repressing note + r when the game is already launched (like when ur already driving cars and killing people, it should work fine then)

Just figured this out myself..
(don’t know if this is the best method, i just know that it works)
Tested on WinXP Home/Pro
The RemotejoyLite0_17b1 Folder
Contains 3 files
libusb0.dll
RemoteJoylite
RemoteJoylite.prx
–
step 1: install the firmware extender (follow steps)
step 2: Copy Remotejoylite.prx to the SEPLUGINS folder on your psp. Also copy the file to the SEPLUGINS/cfe Folder
BUT (THIS IS IMPORTANT: rename the existing remotejoy.prx file to remotejoy.prx- and after that rename the Copy of Remotejoylite.prx to remotejoy.prx
So the structure will be like this:
root/Seplugins/Remotejoy.prx
root/Seplugins/cfe/remotejoy.prx-
root/Seplugins/cfe/remotejoy.prx (the rename version of Remotejoylite.prx)
and
root/Seplugins/cfe/Remotejoylite.prx
Make sure you have directx 9.0c installed
Step 3:
now start RemotejoyLite by (clicking on the executable)
Step 4: switch ur psp of just in case, make sure you have the custom firmware extender plugins enabled <– al 3 of them game/vsh/vsh (within the recovery menu, change default speeds to default)
Step 5: Switch on your PSP
press note + R (note is the button left from the select button)
Step 6: Have fun!

download this , u don’t have to use anything else from that file just the DRIVER install. Install the sh*t and delete it or save it whatever
ps i expirienced that sometimes the usb connection is lost when starting games,, i just repress note + R when the game is fully started, not at loading (when i tried that i just hang my psp)
How do I add sound? I want to record a game for youtube, but no sound comes out from the PC view…how can I fix this? Many thanks.
i don’t think its supported.. use the earphone JACK,,, doublesided and insert it in your microphone jack or LINE IN in your computer :D
i did what u said but the sound/audio is really bad, it somehow lags.
is it possible ot fix ???
laggy? thats odd the sound is just playing from your psp to your computer their should be no delay because no software is coming between it. so if it lags in combination with the display of your psp on your computer it might me that your computer has trouble processing the usb feed from your psp and uses to many resources that could propably cause the lagg, could be a memory problem (Then u need to buy more memory or a faster CPU)

Any way to get this to work with PSX games??
i cant play madden o9 on it once it starts it turns my psp off
i played madden 09 and a few others but latley ive been having my psp turn off when this is activated. it only seems to be working with the initial set of games i used. any ideas?
I install the remote joylite completely .. When I start the game, after the logo of Playstation Portable the scree of joylite turns into black and have “waiting” message …. Any one can help me to fix this problem?
