Multi-Die v.1 Released

greg | August 5, 2008

100-sided Die Here is a little something for the Dungeons & Dragons enthusiasts worldwide, or anyone who needs quick access to some dice, for whatever reason. It’s another homebrew release from crait — Multi-Die version 1.

Multi-Die is straightforward: select the number of sides for the dice and roll ‘em.

This is a suprisingly useful idea. My psp is elsewhere right now, can this roll multiple dice at the same time and show the individual results? how many dice can it display at one time? i hope this is something that gets a couple of updates. Oh and what the hell, FIRST

No, you’d just have to roll, then reroll if you want more than one outcome. ;)

Second. :P

I’ll try to get a graphical interface soon to make it look better. Right now it’s text based.

GJ crait. Perhaps in future releases, multi dice support, and a non text base GUI. Then, I’ll <3 you :P

Absolutely awesome. I can’t believe someone finally made this.
I’m a huge DnD fan so I’ve always dreamed of not having to carry around 10+ di.

yeah with a bit of GUI, and multi die support, this could become an important tool in my deadlands game. While I’m listing off features to wish for, it would be awesome if you could add an option for “chain Rolls”(Like in Rifts, where if you roll the max on a die roll, you get to reroll and add it to your total until you don’t roll the max on the die roll). Again here’s hoping for further development, I love using the psp in unusual circumstances. It just recently served as my dictionary for scrabble.

this is great for when I play YU-GI-OH and activate a card that requires a dice roll.
nice to see new homebrew, thanks Crait

Multi dice and a gui would be lovely, finally we dont have to spend 1000s of hours finding the die for monopoly!

Yes, I must agree with everyone, a non text base GUI and multi dice support. Perhaps one just to choose the sides, and then have an image of the die pop up with the number “rolled” highlighted. Although i’ve never seen a die above 100 sides. Also, i’ve noticed if you want to use the same number of sides a second time or so, when you push the X button, it sort of sends the signal repeatedly so maybe slow that down. And that’s with me barely touching the button.

Anyways, thanks.

Yes, because the two things are the exact same, except one is a social game with creativity, and the other is World of Warcraft.
