DO NOT USE IF NOTHINGS WRONG WITH YOUR STICK.

I had a jeeves moment, thought that it would tell me if it was corrupt first, long story short, it erased everything from my mem card, since i was on 4.01 w 1.5 addon and a theme, i couldnt make another pandora stick and had to borrow a friends just to be able to make it again, game saves, iso's everything was gone, thats what i get for fckin with my psp at 4 am. Backup everything before you use. Also the psp wouldnt recognize it until i formatted from within the psp.

The flashing light is casued by improper contact to the reader, normally because of a crack on the end of the memory stick, meaning the pressure on the gold contacts of the memory stick is gone. Meaning when the stick is pushed in, the contacts of your MS are not pushed against those of the reader hard enough. To remedy this, fold a tiny piece of paper 3 or 4 times, and lift up the plastic on your MS with the 'Memory Stick PRO DUO' written on it, from the side with the contacts on it. Slide the paper in, between the plastic and the underside of the circuit board. Then it should lift up the contacts on the Stick, and work properly again. Thats what i did with my fake stick. Work perfectly now :D
