Gunner54, with the assistance of Hellcat, has released a tool serving a simple yet effective purpose.

so does it fix a fake memory stick?
I tried this on my 2gb sony high speed pro duo which mysteriously stop working.
And it didnt fix it.
One day this mem card just carked it.
Just gives me a flashing red light on the mem indicator which starts flashing THE SECOND i put it in.
It doesnt even try and read it.
And for somereason the psp wont boot if the mem card is inserted.
Any advice?
it won’t boot…. that’s really odd.
not if the battery is pandorized
The battery is not padorized.
And its the only memory stick that does this.
And im 99% sure its not a fake.
Happen to me once. Problem due to some error in the SEPLUGIN folder. Try deleting the files inside SEPLUGIN folder.
Darn… It could be the memorycard itself and not the software on it. But i guess i will have to do some deep research.
I have the same problem =(
This program doesn’t help me
The flashing light is casued by improper contact to the reader, normally because of a crack on the end of the memory stick, meaning the pressure on the gold contacts of the memory stick is gone. Meaning when the stick is pushed in, the contacts of your MS are not pushed against those of the reader hard enough. To remedy this, fold a tiny piece of paper 3 or 4 times, and lift up the plastic on your MS with the ‘Memory Stick PRO DUO’ written on it, from the side with the contacts on it. Slide the paper in, between the plastic and the underside of the circuit board. Then it should lift up the contacts on the Stick, and work properly again. Thats what i did with my fake stick. Work perfectly now :D
hmmmm. so if my memorystick has a corrupted MBR and won’t format/read/write or is dead, this program can fix it if i have a working memstick to put the hoembrew on? well i’ll try it out n post the result. i can’t do it now coz i’m waiting for new lcd and mobo >.<
yea i want some one to test this
I’m hoping this will fix my 4 GB Memory Stick Duo that constantly ask to format the memory stick.
do we just put the eboot in the root of the corrupt memory stick or do we need to put it in any sub folder?
It spoiled my memory stick you cant write any data on the stick stupid program :(
This crashed my PSP :-( but luckily i remvoed the battery immed and it saved..
UMMMM, you guys do know that after you boot the program, it still runs when you eject the working memorystick, Right??
DO NOT USE IF NOTHINGS WRONG WITH YOUR STICK.
I had a jeeves moment, thought that it would tell me if it was corrupt first, long story short, it erased everything from my mem card, since i was on 4.01 w 1.5 addon and a theme, i couldnt make another pandora stick and had to borrow a friends just to be able to make it again, game saves, iso’s everything was gone, thats what i get for fckin with my psp at 4 am. Backup everything before you use. Also the psp wouldnt recognize it until i formatted from within the psp.
