Sleep’n'Wake 1.99b MULTi8 Released
greg | July 2, 2008
Now if only I had this installed on my PSP prior to the Canada Day celebration, I would’ve been awake to post it earlier… But enough excuses. Without further ado — MK2k’s Sleep’n'Wake.
Sleep’n'Wake is the app for dozing off while enjoying your music at a smooth and calming volume. Then when it’s time, wake up to a sudden blast of tunes at a maxed out magnitude. The first few days of use will no doubt startle you.

New in this version:
- The current version 1.99b adds compatibility to Custom Firmware 3.xx and 4.xx by utilizing Mr305’s OpenAlarmLib as well as fixes a bug in snooze mode for AM/PM time users.
Features (as in previous versions too)
- Full support of cbr/vbr/abr 8kbps-320kbps 44.1kHz MP3 of arbitrary length
- Playlist Management for sleep and wake lists
- Set a special more silent volume for sleep mode
- Time settings for wake up, fade in and sn00ze
- Utilization of OpenAlarmLib by Mr305 for Suspend/Resuming the PSP and thus saving a lot of battery power
- Multi-language Support (EN_DE_FR_IT_NL_FI_PT_PT-BR)
- and more… read the README textfiles for details

So, do you leave the psp on? or will this start up the psp on its own?
The latter is the case. If you enable “Use Suspend/Resume Alarm” from the settings, the psp will go into Standby/Suspend after the last track of the sleep-playlist has been played. And it will power on automatically 1 minute before the set alarm time.
Thank you for clearing that up. I was thinking the psp had to be on already which would obviously make this app only semi useful.
I need a good alarm clock to wake my lazy ass up in the mornings. Now I finally have a use for my 2nd psp.
Thanks!
What sort of person would want a loud blast of music while trying to sleep not to mention it would wake up other people in the house and you would get in some beef…
Its not for sleeping, it plays soft music for you to fall asleep with.
Then when you want to wake up, it BLAST music to wake you like an alarm clock.
right on time. my phone (alarm) busted today.
awesome ive always wanted something like this, mostly a timer to turn music off but an alarm clock is even better.
Oyeeeeeeeee!
this would b usefull if my psp had louder speakers lol
Plug it into your stereo or just some computer speakers mate. However when I’m too lazy I just use an audiobook for sleepmode and some random music for wakeup, works OK with the internal speakers for me.
