Lol i’m sure Dark_AleX has already decrypted the firmware. He doesn’t post it on his blog on his site :( As for GEN they do. Also i expect m33 to be a better release than GEN. But GEN are new to the custom firmware scene they just could shock us all.

Well there was word that the flash player was updated from 6 to 7, which allows some flash support. Perhaps if one of them were able to make it so some videos worked they would be the victor in the firmwires. Because honestly, i like psptube and everything but it get’s annoying having to use a program that doesn’t always work for everything.

i rilly wish they can just integrate youtube instead of that lousy stupid google search garbage so it would sort of work like psptube right from the xmb in game but instead just scroll all the way to the right then search youtube videos or better yet search links with videos etc i hope sony could include something close to a youtube program or of some sort.

there is no differ from m33 or gen because gen is using the same as m33 he said so when he first came out that he was following m33 work he does have some new stuff in the recovery thats about it beside gen cant even ad 1.5 to 3.95 i can but i will not give to anyone because it is illegal to give out because sony copy right laws and 4.00 is easy to decrept i have my on custom fw i just chose not to show it only me friends use it because i know u guys will post it everwhere on the web and i put in jail

i want dark alex or someone to make a firmware of there own that has all the homebrew installed so that you can save your memory for isos and not have to use half of it on psp tube and that sort of thing

it is easy to ad the 1.5 to 4.00 all you do is grab the the files from the 3.93 1.5 ad on and get the 4.00 pspbtinf.bin, pspbtknf.bin, pspbtpspbtjnf.bin pspbtcnf.bin and the ad 1.5 reboot.bin to them and the tell them which dir you want them to direct to like km and branch them off that and ad all the 1.5 files it takes a long time to ad all the files but it can be done and to create your own custom fw all you need is the patch from 1.5 that run unofficial eboots and ad it to the vshmain vshctrl and the pspbt files and there is your own custom fw and learn how to get in your flash 0 to do this u can use pandoras or a modchip or like i did is attach a usb cord to the flash mother board to access it or use a flash mod dumper witch you have mess with the buffer so that the file fits in you ram to dump it

Never had any issues with any 3.9x firmwares, Dark Alex’s or Gen’s. Even when people were complaining about PSOne games not working, mine worked perfectly. I would trust either at this point, although I respect Dark Alex slightly more for all of his hard work. He has been around a very long time, and has consistant quality code.

I dont really care is 4.00 GEN comes out. DAX is taking his time and making some improvements on the 4.00m33. the Team GEN wont do much good while rushing.

has anyone figure out an easy way to downgrade from 3.95? i read all this cool cfw stuff and i want to try it all out but i am suck a noobie when it come to all this programming swapping files stuff or whatever is there some way of downloading a file that will downgrade the psp????
