MyPspMenu R1
greg | May 31, 2008
Bored of the plain ol’ XMB? Perhaps you desire refined or more control over organizing/managing that mess of data on your memory stick. For those who like to keep things organized in a clean and functional manner, you best check out MyPspMenu.
“MyPspMenu” is a shell stemming from the well-known and much respected developer, Cpasjuste. It’s also been submitted into our Homebrew Idol competition as entry #15.

MyPspMenu R1 features:
- Organise your homebrews/games in 6 sections and launch them with a custom cpu speed: Games, Emulators, PSX, ISOs, Applications, UMD
- Filer explorer:
- Explore memory stick, umd, flash0, flash1, , nethost0, usbhost0, iso, cso.
- Copy, paste & delete files/folders from/to memory stick, umd, flash0, flash1, iso, cso, etc… (flash0 in write mode so be careful).
- Create folders.
- Rename files/folders.
- View/preview images (gif, png, jpeg : 512*512 pixels max, 500Kb max).
- Play a single mp3 (playlist to come with next version).
- Show directory/files size.
- Launch homebrews and iso/cso via wifi (nethost, can be bugged for now).
- Launch iso/cso via usbhost in “oe” or “noumd” mode (with an umd inserted for noumd mode, no homebrew launching via usbhost for now).
- View battery, free space, date, time information.
- Setting menu:
- Select/save your PSP cpu speed
- Select/save your USB state.
- Select/save the default skin.
- Quit menu: Reboot the PSP, Exit to XMB, Poweroff the PSP.

NICE, reminds me of gmenu2x.
Any way to make it autoboot when i turn my PSP on?
yea with the revovery
Thanks:D
This is one hell of a good homebrew:D
I have just tried it through the recovery, but which file should I use?
some 1.50 homebrew crashes :(
I Would like to hear more on this issue..
Are they random crashes, or under specific conditions?
eh i’ll wait till you make the music playin as good as the normal xmbs, or at least close cuz this is pretty cool and a startup plugin as someone else said would be really cool.
On 3.71M33-4, it just keeps flashing between the Exit Menu and the actual program.
Yeah, the fl flashing is cause of the 1.5 kernal. I dunno why. Turn off the 1.5 kernal from recovery menu unless your cool like me and can do it from ultimate vsh menu.
This is Awesome, Few Minor Flaws, But over all Its a A+
If i could Vote for a winner this App would have my Vote Hands Down..
Great work..
hey dude i never post but this one is so cool i got its alsome now auto boot for slim plugin
My only issue with all these shell replacements is that none of them have a shuffle feature on their music players…
Oh yea, and the issue with supporting bigger pictures…
I made a Skin for MyPspMenu
It looks like this:

You can download it here:

it does have a few bugs in the system but overall it’s great, i love it.
can’t get usbhost to work :(
hope it gets an update soon i love it.
Excellent work! Pirata Nervo might not have this contest won just yet.
i have trouble getting said file/folder from the filer section to its respective location such as psx section or emulator section -_-
Yea when i press Ok to add a iso or eboot this shit freezes…
Love the shell. I would like to see the following in a future release.
-Internet Browser
-autoboot
Also all of my 1.5 homebrew won’t work through the shell. And of course if I switch to 1.5 compatibility mode the shell won’t work.
In my book this would be the winner!
with CFW 3.93 It keeps flashing the exit menu. (I feel like I’m gonna have a seizure)
yeah i liked it
but it has to run on 3.90 kernel
