PSP CFW 3.95 GEN — Soon, Real Soon…

Despite no mention of a release date, MaGiXieN notes custom firmware 3.95 GEN is 99% complete; however, there is a good news/bad news catch.
The good news — the PSP Slim version is 99% complete and nearing release. Today many of their tests proved success, and even better, they have PopsLoader working again. Hallelujah!
The bad news — yes, I’m looking at you PSP Fatties, there’s a chance you maybe left behind. Several functions remain non-operational on the Fat; this is likely due to hardware/memory limitations causing the instability. Should these problems go unresolved, the current Slim-working version will launch anyway.

we all love dax’s work, but why is everyone so afraid to try something new. The last gen cfw worked just fine (for those of us that can follow instructions)
Its a shame that us fattie users might be left out but i for one will be checking this out on my slim if/when released.

i have a fat psp, if cfw 395 wont work its 100% functionality on my fat, then, im staying with 390. nway, im just wondering, in dax webpage, is LAST UPDATE means latest update or final update? just wondering…
Nobody is being paid to make homebrew or cfw’s so I hardly think it’s acceptable to get bent out of shape over something that doesn’t work well on the fat. Take it or leave it brotha! It’s free! The fat PSP works great on 3.71 and 3.90 m33 firms and future firmware releases may only include crap like skype (only for slimz)… well, and popsloader versions… The slims are cool too! Save up and buy one if you really want these little extra features. But, if you have a fat, be thankful that you do cuz it’ll be harder for slim users to find one as time goes on. IR port bitches!
hehehe about ur ir port comment i plan on modding my slim psp out to have an infrared port or well my guess is acidmods will be makin it prob b4 me and im also trying to see if possible for a usb infrared because id rather keep my psp closed if posssible so yeah still expierimenting if i can and plus i sold my fat psp becuase i have a lil feeling that one day this ir keyboard will come in handy and this mod will be accoplished ;)
Hmm… Well I hadn’t thought of that. I also haven’t tried DA’s time machine. Something about the fatty just feels better in my hands. I guess it’s just a sentimental thing lol… I’ll get a slim if something crazy is released cuz I love playing with PSP’s but until then I aint gonna drop the cash. As far as your IR usb with IR keyboard idea: Why not just write a plugin for a usb keyboard? (I’m not sure if this is really possible, but it seems plausible at least). Turning off peoples TV’s with the psp is only fun for so long anyways lol…

i have had my psp for awhile now and its been up graded a yr ago to a 3.52 m33. it was workin fine an all of a sudden the games don’t play…do u think somehow my settings got changed.
or do i need to upgrade to 3.95
Check that your firmware is still 3.52m33 (maybe someone upgraded to OFW?) if so try reseting the settings, and then if no luck try upgrading to 3.71m33-4. If still no luck pandora the bitch / format flash / etc… And always remember that nand dumps are your friends.

check to see what your umd mode is set at.
I just about used pandora on a buddies psp untill i noticed he was set to umd required, and he had no umd in the tray!
I know its basic stuff but to much smokey smokey and the simplest of things are overlooked.

lol… ooh yeah, I done that b4 too. Also sometimes switching to the Sony NP9660 no-umd option in recovery works too for some shit.
