FuSa 1.0 Build 41 Released

greg | May 19, 2008

All your favourite PSP titles are coming to the big screen, thanks to Andy_maN and OldPrisoneR’s “FuSa” project.

With the FuSa PRX plugin installed / enabled, you’ll have full TV out support — on standard and high definition televisions — using any cable; whether it be component, composite, s-video, and so on…

Of course, FuSa is only compatible with the PSP Slim. And it is beta software, so unexpected or unforeseen behaviour may occur. Please report any bugs via the source link.

FuSa 1.0 Build 41 changes:

  • UMD compatibility improved
  • Every game now works fine while plugin is disabled
  • Full screen mode # 1 added (tested with Samsung LCD at 16:9 — works fine)
  • No more crash on exit

Download: FuSa 1.0 Build 41

Add the line “ms0:/seplugins/FuSa.prx” to /seplugins/pops.txt and activate it in the recovery menu. It worked for me.

With custom firm place se plugins the plugins folder in the root of the psp ie next to the psp folder not in it. since you dont use the plugins yet if there is already one replace it inside it there should be your prx file and the game and vsh txt folder you need to then go into the recovery menu you know reboot with r i think slims are with r to then activate it easy as pie excuse all spelling just wole up enjoy

Create a Seplugins folder in the root. The PRX plugins and the txt files go in there. Go to recovery menu and enable them.

I have a cable designed for component and when I hook up the green cable the screen is black and white, the other two are just fuzzy, is there a way for me to get a full color picture?

I’m gussing you bought the wrong cables, all cables have to be pluged in to display properly. If you only have the yellow video input along with the red and white audio inputs, you should have gotten the composite cables.

Sorry, it displays but it’s only in black and white, any ideas?

This version seems to crash more often than the last release, i can’t get GTA to work at all now. But at least the picture isn’t cropped at the top and bottom anymore and it’s less stretched out.

Okay, so i’ve got the plugin in my plugins folder, both extracted, both names put into the txt file. Rebooted my PSP, enabled both plugins, went into the PSP menu, held down the ‘-’ and ‘+’ at the same time, and still no menu. What am I doing wrong??? I’ve got 3.80 M33-5.

The authors are to be congratulated for their continued work on this project. When it is complete it will be GREAT. However, this particular build seems to have some real problems. Most homebrew/emulator applications that worked on the previous version freeze up on this one. This includes most that I have tried so far including-PSPMap, Mame, CPSPSP. PSPUAE.

It did work with PSPVice (C64 emulator, including the new video mode–which isn’t any wider, but doesn’t chop off the top and bottom of the screen)

Great job on all the hard work. Coming along very well. Running on CFW 3.90 m33. Looks good just cropped sides but expect that to be taken care of later. Awesome job in such a short time.

Where do people get the PSP composite cables from? I’d like to know because I don’t have an HDTV, rather, I have a good old SDTV (Shit Definition TV).

There is a place in town where I live that makes custom cables, what would I need to make my own?
