Xvid4PSP can also convert almost any vid format into .mp4, and produce better quality than any converter i have ever used, dumbass

For some reason I can’t get it to work; it keeps saying “Can’t find the PSP!” when I click ‘upload’.

Tried making a VIDEO folder in PSP/ and manually copying it, but the PSP tels me there are no videos. The converted mp4 plays fine in VLC.

    Any suggestions?

    Check the FAQ:
    http://pspvc.nswardh.com/faq.php

You need to create a “VIDEO” and a “MUSIC” folder in the root of your memory stick!

XVID4PSP seems a bit better, since it will convert real media files. When I try to do that with this, all I get is a screenshot only.
Like XVID4PSP, resolution is good, but it won’t convert DVDs unless you decrypt them first, and it won’t take subtitles from the DVD either (or at least if it does, I can’t figure out how). Why are these two things such a problem? Older programs like VeMode are able to do these things.

You can convert RealMedia as well, read the FAQ for more info:

Look in the “PSPVC v2.6 Setup folder”, in there you´ll find a file called “DirectX Setup (Required!).exe”.
Here´s a direct link to the guide:

Uncheck the H264 codec to speed things up, but then the quality will suffer.

since they changed to the .net code, video9 never worked right again. it’s always out of sync.
