Update: If CWCHEAT keeps crashing, please re-download the archive. Weltall has reverted an optimization which seems to fix the problem.
Weltall with probably one of the smallest CWCHEAT changelogs I’ve ever witnessed… But that proves your girlfriend was right — big/good things do come in small packages. The big thing, aside from the classic set of bug fixes and optimizations — Weltall now has RemaPSP fully working under POPS emulation. So for the person who was asking in our forums or comments awhile back, wherever it was, RemaPSP supports turbo/rapid-fire and macros — now under POPS — that’s what you need.
And for those who don’t know what CWCHEAT or RemaPSP is: CWCHEAT enables endless cheating of any PSP/PSOne game, it works similar to the “Game Genie” for Nintendo, plus much more; RemaPSP allows remapping of PSP buttons and controls.
CWCHEAT 0.2.2 REV. B changes:
- [ALL] fixed a bug in RemaPSP about buffernegative functions which returned invalid values being returned.
- [POPS] Now REMAPSP works perfectly in POPS
- [ALL] Various optimizations in the remaPSP initialization code which reduced the size of more than 200 bytes
- [ALL] Some optimizations in the memory edit/disasm functions which reduced the size of more than 32 bytes
- [ALL] Added a check against tries to open a non existent text file with the text reader
- [ALL] Various size optimizations in the cheat search functions which reduced the size of more than 232bytes
- [ALL] Now it’s possible to define a key combination to access directly the text reader from in-game. You can define the buttons by adding them to the “TEXTREAD BTN = ” entry in the configuration file.
- [ALL] Optimized the functions checking for key combinations. This reduced the size of more than 818bytes

CWCheat’s worth installing in everything for the CPU throttling, FPS readout, USB access, and control remapping alone.
Yawn.
Awsome I tell you! …If only it was a little more simple to add new cheats to this thing for games like Project Horned owl or Space Shot. All in all SUPERB work!

Ok i got CFW 390 M33-3 which is the one to use in this package for this specific firmware i get no menu when pressing select is there a trick to this version or something to do with the recovery menu besides enableing it?
Are you holding select? You need to hold select for about 3 or 4 seconds.
yea if his solution doesn’t work then i had a similer problem…mine had something to do with the txt file that sets the path for the plugin…

ok i have been trying to get ANY cwcheat to work and i cant get it to work…ive been trying for 3 days now..everytime i select the cheat i want and i exit and everything the it freezes and shuts off?? any ideas?

When I enable the cheats and exit and play for a few minutes, the word “dumping” comes in the middle of the screen and the game stops and the memstick light is flashing and I can’t play for a few minutes and it’s very annoying! WTF is Dumping?!

people dont put ur psp on sleep mode while using the cheat system otherwise u will brick ur psp and the only way of restoring it is using pandora and a magic stick
