Toss pspkvm 0.1.0a and pspME 0.2.1 into a pot; stir ‘em around, and what do ya got? You got M@x and Sleepper’s fully merged PSPKVM 0.3.0 — a virtual machine capable of running j2me applications/games on the PlayStation Portable.
PSPKVM 0.3.0 features:
- MIDP 2.0
- Nokia UI APIs (partial)
- WMA1.1(JSR120) stub
- Networking (By PSP’s WIFI)
- Java AMS with MVM supporting
- Several input methods: QWERTY/Abc/Symbol/…
- Directly browse and run from local jad/jar file, and auto-install without interrupting
- Jpeg support
- MIDI & Wave audio playback support
- Device emulation. You can choose device type to emulate for different screen sizes and key codes, either at installation time or from “Select device” menu
- Change default key assignment for specific application.

Can somebody tell me some good apps I could try out?
tetriabetes is really good…ir shell is great for downloading files and extracting them on ur psp. (.rar and .zip) with irshell i hardly use my pc anymore to download files (only time i actually use it is when i download games and play counter strike)
Opera Mini works….yes….full internet and no issues with running out of memory!!! Now I can check my email on the road and surf the internet better than with the PSP’s native browser!!!
Uh, yeah but how the hell do you put in all characters? I only have a few. Which device emulating do you use?

I tried this software it is pretty cool! i was actually testing it for a J2ME dictionary that i use on my mobile! now i have it on my PSP! only problem is that i can’t get sounds out of it! the preffered device i use is J2ME Standard (480*272) thats the only one i tried so far and works good for that software! you can get the P easily! this software actually uses keys as your mobile does! so under key assignment do as i did! [] is 1, ^ is 2, 0 is 3, x is 4 then for 5 6 7 and 8 use Shift+[], shift+^, shift+0, Shift+X respectively and for 9 you can use the Up arrow key! now as in your mobile 1 handles a few symbols, 2 handles a,b and c and so on , so accordingly p will be under the key for 7 aloong with q,r, and s! hope this helps you!
