Damn, that is sexy.
definitely cool, i want it
Now THAT IS A PSP!!!
Thanks Guys!!!!
I hope a tutorial on how to do this is posted up soon, I’m really interested in doing this myself.
We are waiting for the shipment from coolmods.co.uk to do a complete tutorial.. then we will start working on the plug n play board for the slim…
Glad to hear, keep up the good work!
Xbox fans will like this. just like a xbox controller now.
Just out of interest…. anyone know what CFW thats running? im a bit of a noob, and those home menu screens look rather different
So the new right analog stick works like Cross, square, circle and triangle?
Cool.
Cyber, this is the first I’m actually seeing of the Razer, you mentioned a plug and play board for the slim, is there one for the old one available? I’m not really a hardware modder, but I have a psp in pieces now, might try it.
do to the cost associated with the R&D we choose to invest into making the plug n play board for the slim since installing it into the slim is much harder to do..
little known fact, L0rdNic0 is gangsta and plays anime based games like the one featured in this vid. badass.
Hay what is that song? tell me at my email cheatmaster2@yahoo.com
FLO by Flo Rida
u mean LOW
oops yes LOW
thats pretty neat! just woinderin once you put that on there does the 2nd analog just automaticly work or do u need a cfw plugin? also can u control the camera in gta?
this is a hardware mod and works with all psp’s even with sony firmware.
this is a very nice mod would like to have one of those would come in handy playing metal gear solid also will you still be able to use the shape buttons also like X to reload and square to use things that would be even better.
Yes the face buttons still work fine.
i always wanted white buttons on my slim
so how do i buy it? im too lazy to mod it on my own? does acidmod sell them too?
Coolmods.co.uk to buy the Razer x, ebay will get’cha the analog stick, soldering gun and wire from Radio Shack or similar store, and Acidmods for tutorials on how to do it. I’ve done a bit of research, it looks, well, not easy, but not overwhelmingly difficult.
Sony you must see and build it.
http://www.mpsp.blogfa.com
If it works like pressing the triangle, circle, square and X buttons then its not true analog. Analog motion has multiple degrees of response, this would have 8 degrees.
Yes, technically, you’re right, however there isn’t a way to make that happen, since you have to completely reprogram how a game controls. Still, for fps games, this is a great substitute.
So then, wouldnt it be cheaper and alot easier to build a device that fits on top of the bottons and has the same effect? Maybe i just dont get it, but if it claims to be analog, it should be analog.
just read that thread on acidmods, I can’t wait to see what the true analog nub on the right side will be like
yeah would be great. too bad game developers might not take advantage of this feature since it is not sony official. May be popstation.. playstation emulator on psp can take advantage of the second analog control.
that is so uncomfortable 4 me!
I agree, the left one is uncomfortable too. Hey I wonder if Joysens plugin would get updated for this…
Shawty got low!!!
hay plzz email me and tell me what is that song?
cheatmaster2@yahoo.com
Great Mod. something to look forward too. however what a dumb song. had to mute it.
wow
now only r2 and l2 are missing then it would be perfect
what game is he playing? it’s looks very cool!
Looks like a ghost in the shell game
shorty got lo lo lo lo lo lo lo
Wow that is so nice.
i wonder why sony did not think of this in the first place ?
this can make game play better ;)
Nice job l0rdnic0 :)
It’s a good concept, but the joystick looks a bit off and I feel like the right js would just get in the way. Great job though! :)
wow….
i really need to get that
does it work on fattie?wish sony would allow for psp owners to get this done at shops so we wouldnt accidently **** it up.lol
its just a substitute for the buttons:( but hey good work
This would be AMAZING in Syphon filter: Dark Mirror, Logans Shadow and Combat OPS! CAnt wait!
quite stupid..
When Sony announced new version of PSP last year, I really thought they gonna put in the right analog pad, but they didn’t… Now this come, ok, I am getting a new slim anyway for this mod… :D GREAT SH*T!
It really looks good but if its just wired to X,▲,0,■, then in the long run it really won’t help with the aiming problem that all psp FPS’s have. Don’t misunderstand, it’s great, i certainly have never modded a joystick to my psp, but at the same time unless the concept can be implemented by Sony itself (and after all they are famous for taking modders’ ideas and adding them to the psp, like Flash™ for instance) but right now its a great concept.
WOW that looks good, but when he plays it looks like it really doesnt work well, not even worth it
why does it take a modder to make something so kewl and useful! Dual sticks should have been on the original psp. If it wasnt for the modders and the homebrew scene, the psp would be in a coma! AWESOME MOD!!!!!!! I WANT IT!!!!
what game that is?
omg…..ps2 is now portable…..^_^
but it is more cool if the other stick has other functions as well…
but great job! ^_^
