Custom Firmware 3.90 M33-3 and Despertar del Cementerio v5 Released

Roll out the red carpet; Dark_AleX back in the spotlight with two PSP updates… We got custom firmware 3.90 M33-3 and Despertar del Cementerio version 5 — the universal unbricker.
If you’re already running 3.90 M33, feel free to update via M33’s network update function.
CFW 3.90 M33-3 Update:
- March33 noumd driver compatibiilty has increased to support games like Coded Arms, Patapon, Harvest Moon Innocent Life and probably others affected by same errors.
Despertar del Cementerio v5 changes:
- Now installs 3.90 M33-3 instead of 3.80 M33-5
- Integration with timemachine in case it is installed.

hi there..i know this isent the right place to say this but… im looking for an original file called 0×0041 041.bin.. is it possible to install any official firmware and obtain it that way to fix the key…?? if so how do i dump the key if i cant run dumper on official firmware.. any help would be appreciated..

your homebrew may only work on a specific kernel mode. so check that
if you have the old phat model PSP, In order to get your homebrews working you will need the 1.50 kernel add on for the 3.93m33 CFW.

why is the original 390M33 linked here?? if you read the 390M33-3 readme it says that if your below 390M33 all you need to do is copy 390.PBP into the 390M33-3 folder. its just a bit misleading for the newbies

Wierd file structure on DC5. Anyhow, I dont do that TimeMachine thingy. I have Magic Memory stick DC3 and DC4 and I am stuck making DC5. Anyhow, please correct my procudure below, quick reply would be nice
format MS on Windows
format MS on PSP
mspformat MS
copy DC5 files files and eboots 150 340 390
run DC5 thru PSP
now what?????? what should I do to run the msinst? This is the screeny from folder structure for DC5. I tried copying the ipl.bin on my hard drive and do the msiint thingy, it went well and it says MS BOOT DRIVE or whatever then I put the stick and pandora batt. on my PSP but nothing happen, just plain green light with black screen.
i never formated anything. all i did was just put the eboots in the root of my magic memory stick with the msiint already on it of course. then i ran the DC5 thing and it worked. and upgraded my slim successfully.
if you already had a magic memory stick with everything on it, all you have to do is run the DC5 thing to upgrade to 3.90m33-3 instead of 3.80m33-5

my date keeps saying 3/33 when I try to change it to 4/2. Something wrong with the date…

It’s an April fools joke by the man himself D_A.
If you look at the system version you will see it says version 3.33 M33 and you mac will be 33:33:33 and so on. Change the date to 4/3 or 4/4 you will notice it returns to normal when you reboot.
I’m not ashamed to say I fell for this big time I thought my PSP was Broke and even re-flashed it twice. Doh!
D_A got us both I wonder how many more will fall for it.

I got a problem, some of my csos don’t work, when I put it gundam seed portable it doesn’t work, but I put in Viewtiful Joe and that works, and I even tried using different downloads of gundam seed to put in, but the game could not be started, plus my XMB, the lines on the background speed up like crazy
and all of that was after I installed 3.90 M33-3
“April 2nd” is also “March 33″. Because March goes up to 31 only, if you add the two days of April it’s “March 33rd”. Hence the “joke”.
ehh nvm, I fixed the problem, friggin no UMD driver was the solution XD

How to make DC5 Work!
1. Format MS
2. Copy DC5 files to MS
3. Run DC5
4. Open Notepad and write
NOTHING = “/TM/DC5/ipl.bin”;
5. Save as ms:/TM/CONFIG.txt

When updating from 3.52 M33-3 to 3.90 M33, I get: Unpacking… done. Please wait… Then it freezes up. Any ideas?
You need to enter recovery mode and change the kernal to 3.52.
we need some kernel 3 homebrews …. still havent filled out the space in the slim…becoes of lag of good proggry for the new kernel3

Anyone here remember the problem with the slow access of the memory stick, causing wifi play to crash. Does this new CFW new the older 3.71 Memory Stick Driver AKA fatmsmod.prx.
