Can we see this in action? Like how it looks when its hooked up inside?
http://www.psp-hacks.com/2007/05/03/razor-2nd-analog-psp-nub-in-action/
Thats awsome, I’d love to have a go at fitting one, I take it thats just the connector you can buy.
Do you have to buy the nub elsewhere? If so where?
Or do you just have to pull apart another PSP?
you can get the nub from coolmods.co.uk who also sell the razor x
if a plugin was released which swapped the face buttons with the second nub I Would buy this. Most FPS’s on psp use the face buttons for looking around…Any chance of you guys making one?
um… if u mean the X.O,[],/\ yes that was it does, it controls those bottons
the razor x can be either hooked up to the arrows or the x o [] /\. we are working on a true analogue for the right side not just a didgital nub like the razor x, but thats just for the slim and will be several months in R&D and production so go get your razor x as this new version wont replace it.
for more info check http://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=16958
“the razor x can be either hooked up to the arrows or the x o [] /\”
So can control be switched from arrows to face buttons via some button combo etc.? Or is it chosen by where and what you choose to physically attach the wires?
Looks real cool, Im definitely gonna look into installing this. There is a video of it being used, but was diagonal movement ever resolved?
Any install vids or diagrams?
i no this is of topic but whats 1.5 kernel no 1 will tell me
as far as i know its the software used to run things from psp… u need the 1.50 kernal to play homebrew unless u have official firmware 1.5
Does anyone know if there is a place where you can order the pre cut face for the extra nub from?
My soldering skills are good but I don’t think I can do a clean hole for the extra nub.
Why not just drill it with a drill bit. Whatever size the nub is, go 1/8 bigger, unless the nub can detach from the rest of it, just find out what size hole you need to make.
Now by buying this do I get a tutorial also??
so whats the point have a slim with 3.80m33
Is diagnol Movement Possible yet?
is there any one out there that i can just ship my psp to to have the razor set up installed. Also why doesnt any one just make a face place that has a spot to fit the nub with out removing the power plug????
I realy think this second nub would be the best thing for the psp. I dont bother with FPSs cuz they just suck with the psp buttons… And there is a bunch of good FPS games that I would love to enjoy.
but now they are full of hacker. For example look a Medal of Honor heroes…. great game gone to waste.
Looks cool, but even if you make a “true Analog stick” which wont acutely replace buttens, in my mind would seem imposible, because the games arnt built to support it :S …. i mean i could be wrong… but thats what pops in my head anyways ^_^ regardless good work :D
